We landed on the moon!!!

Mcgwire had his chance to set the record straight when rumors were rampant. however, he acted like a coward in front of congress leading most to come to the conclusion that he was juiced up. He is a d-bag. Seems like he will do anything to be voted into the hall...

He's being cut a break by having a job in MLB.

He doesn't deserve to be crucified, but he cheated while breaking one of the most hallowed record in the game. And not just one or two times...he took steroids over several years.

"Sorry" just doesn't cut it.

Was a member at a country club i used to work at. he is not agood guy. Ian Johnson went to Damien, he was a good guy. McGwire is an asshole

I'm a Damien guy myself....I'm standing by Big Mac. its ok, I know everyone hates the guy, but I seem to have a knack for standing by a guy who everyone hates. nothing new to me.

if you ain't cheatin' you ain't tryin' ! Mark and Sammy(Cub's fan here) saved Baseball ! Don't just blast them, blast almost everyone who played during that time.

Booooo.

Funny that the only athletes that asked me about "enhancements" were a couple of baseball players around that time. They were also the least willing to work hard.

The best athletes in any sport simply worked their asses off and tried to perfect their skill.

I'll never know what the best athletes ate or enhanced themselves with, but they certainly worked harder than the rest.

your so right....the Trojan-side of him must be the asshole-part that ppl keep talking about. The asshole-trojan part got the HR record(70), and that apparently is a tainted record. However, I'm not sure if his rookie HR record is in question, he was still a tall, skinny rookie then. that was before the barry bonds forehead head that he developed. I was there at Angel stadium the night be broke the rookie-HR record, that was done by a Damien Spartan!

That was done by a juiced up perjurer. I don't care where he went to HS or college. He's a piece of crap.

They also showed photos of him in 1988 and 10 years later all bulked up.

They also showed his 2005 Testimony.

Who cares? Baseball sucks. It's a boring game, played waaay too often per year (162 games? Really?), in a league that doesn't have a system in place for the haves and the have nots. Besides...they didn't even start drug testing their players until recently. Blame the league for letting it happen.
