I want to post here now, if they dominate the second half and win I’ll be happy and y’all can crap on me for it,…. But this is not a very good coached team guys. Other than Golden it hasn’t been a well coached team from day 1. You cannot start 0-2 twice in four years, under no circumstances if you’re trying to win a natty. I hope freeman wakes them the fuck I’m and they respond but there’s SO MANY issues I wonder if it’s even possible.

It's not possible and the guys Xs and Os seem to be zilch...You can almost guarantee the continued trend of one of two things in big games, your best players not getting the ball or a total defensive lapse.

I cannot believe that some of yall think Freeman should be fired after he led the team to a national championship last year, especially after coming within one score of tying it.

Ash is who the fans are calling for simply because they called it being a bad hire and it's shown to be a terrible hire. Freeman is likable and personable but for God sakes his Xs and Os are elementary, then making this hire doesn't help at all.

Saban and Kirby always had good defenses that didnt go up and down with the DC because they themselves were in charge of the D. Marcus is not. I don't even think it would solve things for Freeman to take over the D himself. We had good D for 9 years over 4 good DC and our luck has just run out.

Agreed, that's gimmicky bullshit. We didn't need to do that stuff last year, our play on the field spoke for itself and we beat up teams.

I was wondering about that on defense. Slow looking backs can mean that they are not sure where to be. But that would not apply to the front four.

His press conference today IMO is not the best. He just said I don’t put much in to what we did right juston what we have to improve on.

You can’t coach like that. Yes you have to improve and work on that but you also have to show them that there are doing positive things. You can’t just do negative.

Some of you guys are grasping at straws. If he would have gone into detail about positive things, some of you would complain he is not focusing on the areas of improvement. We aren't in film study, meetings, and practice. We have no idea on what motivation tactics are being used.

Not comparing TAMU to those teams, but this was a game ND should not be losing. At home against a deeply flawed team. ND should never lose three games in a row, even straddled over two seasons.

I do think the team/staff may have drank some Kool Aid over the spring and summer. "Notre Dame is back", "Notre Dame is elite", etc.
