Thanks for posting. I have been looking at the leveling kits, this trucks stance now isn't too bad, I think the previous owner made a couple adjustments cause the front end doesn't seem as low as others (more noticeable front straight side view). Do you know if I throw 285/70R17 will they fit on the stock rims or will I have to get wider rims?
Popping off the Bowtie this weekend and making her white to match the body.

sniff...sniff...its...Beautiful!

I had the 2001 2500 HD, in white of course...best truck I ever owned.

I now drive a 1995 Ford F-350 Crew...not a very good ride...but I sold the Chev back in 09. From the proceeds I bought the ford which had 42K original miles (I know...nuts), and a Jeep as my commuter. Haven't had a car payment in many years, and neither of my vehicles have over 75K miles. I'm telling you this because when you get old and worthless, that's the stuff that gets you "excited".

Until father time grinds you down... enjoy the cool new truck...:)

So lost my dad two Wednesdays ago. Strange to put this in life is good thread? No, not for this Guy. At a drop of a hat my wife and I had to fly to Boston for the funeral. Not uncommon for the situation. The lifeos good part came when I realized I could not afford to fly all four children with us.
So without question my wife's cousin and boyfriend(hangout with this couple every weekend, good people for Georgia fans) took in the kids and a sick dog. After they had to cancel a beach trip. Feels awesome to have special people around me! Life is good! Go IRISH!!

I am so sorry for your loss. I know what it is like to lose a father who is a good man. I will say a prayer for you and your family. I wish you peace and comfort in the good memories you hold, of both your dad, and your good family!

PS. FL, I am very happy for you too. I would have commented sooner, but this thread must have happened when I was in recovery, just went under the knife. Didn't see it till now.

I have a spate good news this summer. I thought my kids were going to lose their father, too. But the situation turned out to be three or four atypical things all that came together. So I got 90% good news. The 10% was the surgery I had. The only good news about that is that I will never have that done again! I expect to be back at it in the next month or so. Cool thing now is that I can relax on vacation for a few more days! Again I am so glad of your good news FL, and sorry for your loss, but happy for your attitude GEO!

Ok, tomorrow is my last day at my current job and I know my manager is going to go into my computer when I leave to look at old files and such, and prep it for the next sucker here. He is a HUGE scUM fan and I wanna leave him a lil zinger as the wallpaper. Ya'll got any good ones? Not to vulgar though.

I've always been partial to Tom Hanks Cast Away sentiment.

Here are some OSU thoughts on the topic.

Michigan sucks « TYSOTB

The coeds were quite expressive. Interesting to realize that 10 years later several of them are probably mothers. Must be great sharing college photos with the neighbors or at the PTA.

The pizza poster has got nothing to do with UM but is outstanding nonetheless.

I found that site looking for a photo of Tom Hanks. His words are universal.

I would have suggested videos of Bo kicking twice to Rocket but you wanted wallpaper material.

FLDomer!!! We're truck twins now! Picked this bad up today. Decided to save some change and buy used this time around. I love it. Couldn't be happier. You enjoying the Silverado?

NICE!! That is a beautiful Z71!!! What year is it? The GMCs are freaken nice, a little more fancy than the Chevy. I love it man!!

I need to send you some new pics man, I whited out the Bowtie on the grill, and little bowties on the chrome wheels. That little bit makes a subtle but sharp look. I also under coated the rear wheel wells on the bed (for some reason the factory doesn't do that) but the black in all the wheel wells looks way better.

Thanks man. It's a 2011. I got a smokin deal on it. And they threw in Line-x for free to sweeten the deal.

I drove a few Sliverado's yesterday and then this GMC. I didn't really notice that much of a difference actually, just in the packages.

Send me some pictures so I can load em up! I'm sure it looks awesome.

Lovin the truck so far though. It's my first GM.

This is my first GM too and so far I love it! I have heard only good things about the Z71s. The linex is a must, I have already seen the value in it with the crap I have throw in the back and it will protect the bed from the hooves, antlers and blood from all the deer you shoot this fall! ;-)

Ill take some pics later and send em over.

You know that's right!!!! I've been dropping hints to my patients that I'm new to the area and don't know the good spots to hunt and I finally had one guy come up to me last week saying he has a few spots an hour south that he'd show me if I want. I'm heading out there in a few weeks to scout. I'm jacked.

First, a new pic of my baby.

Now the new pics of FLDomer's toy. The white Plasti-dip makes a huge and awesome difference.

I did a lil work on the Silverado lately. Not being a big fan of the chrome, I blacked out the chrome grill, mirrors, rims and bumpers. I did all the bow ties white. I also got rid of the toolbox and threw on a tonneau cover.
