I took my wife and two sons up to Legends for the Brian Kelly show last night. We had a great time. Both my younger son and I submitted questions for the show that Coach Kelly answered. I also got the chance to meet Coach Kelly, shake his hand, and get his autograph. The show was a good overview of whats up. Here is the link.

Can't wait till Saturday. We are headed back up for the game.

Was it like touching the hand of jesus when coach extended his hand?

well kind of, see BK is one of the few people who actually HAS touched the hand of Bob Diaco, so there should be some BobySwag still on there

His was about the tempo of the offense. My brother's was what previous Irish player would he pick.

I keep getting blindsided by you guys being a father/son combo.... I better keep my mom jokes to a minimun.

I met BK at a Cubs game last year when he sang the Seventh Inning Stretch. Also met Vince Vaughn. Was livin' large that night.

I might be behind the curve here, but is there a way to throw the interview on your ipod? Has anyone ripped the broadcast yet?

Edit: (Late night and semi-undertheinfluence question here.)

I would love to have a copy of the show. I had been working on the lawn all day before the show, so I was dead tired (being an old fart and all). He must have had some electricity in him because after I shook his hand I was wide awake and couldn't sleep the rest of the night.

The new fart is much more deadly and toxic.

I'm such a dork, I would love that opportunity too.

My girlfriends mom just bought me a helmet signed by Lou, it means the world that A: I have something signed by Coach that's near me, and B: Her mom thinks that much of me that she would give me a gift like that.

Pretty cool.

I met BK at the McDonald's here awhile back. It was kind of a mind blow. He defintely has quite a presence. And it never gets old. No matter how many years I live in this area, running into Tony Rice at my local bar on my bday last year was INSANE! I've also met my childhood hero Allen Pinkett, and Lou holtz, but I think my most blonde/starstruck/speechless moment was when I met Ty Wilingham, he was SO NICE.

I've only been back to SB once as an adult, (spent many years close by as a high schooler and such.)

When I came back I was floored with emotion, I had no idea how much the place meant to me. We all know this story, but I got choked up.

I never went to Notre Dame, but it changed my life all the same.

I never went to ND either, but my enitre family is die hard fans, and I'm just a little kid in the background of the Rudy movie. I love ND, the campus, and all of the sports. I could never afford to go to ND, so I didn't, but I'm all Irish just the same. People think it's so cool I live so close and can go to ND anytime I want. It never gets old.

YOU ARE A TRIP!!! HAHAHAHA  And here I was thinking I was destined to be a cat lady forever. I don't have a youtube of me singing but I do sing karaoke all the time, and stood on a table 2 yrs ago at the lineback and sang here come the Irish while shooting Jim Beam. Not my finest half hour, but it was fun!

I met Ty Willingham in the Hallmark Store when I worked in UP mall. Not on the golf course, though all during high school and college it was my second home.

Well, I reserved this song for JohnnyKillz and his baby Addyson Shae, but I'm sure they won't mind sharing:
