in frame for the open WMU job
PJ Fleck made it both easier and more difficult to win there, if that makes sense. Proved it can be done, but the bar is basically NY6 bowl.

Taylor is up against the grain but you've got to start somewhere. Success is probably a coin flip at best, right?

Wow, quite the jump for him the last two seasons. Good for him. Satterfield wanted to bring him to Cincinnati.

On another note, Taylor was a main recruiter for several guys that are still on NDs roster. It would be interesting to see if any of our transfer decide to follow him there at some point.

Why on Earth would you do this? Saying this out loud is going to cause nothing but panic.

The gallons of urine from pants wetting is on YOUR hands. Or feet I suppose.

Ah that takes me back to when I used to live in Australia. You never knew when a Jelly would get you.

I have some extremely cold takes from a year ago questioning the move to Louisville would help him long term as Sattersfield felt like a hot seat to join. Half right but Lance came out the better it seems.

Also that BK assistant bump mentioned for Denbrock possibly with the success of Lea and Elko seems to have found Taylor instead.

Fleck was going to be a tough act to follow at WMU. Five of the last six HC there had winning records and Gary Darnell was .500

There are worse jobs in that conference that are tougher places to win, that much is for sure.

Mendelson off to WMU. Makes sense, he was probably maxed out at an analyst role.

Didn’t realize that O’Leary went back to college.

Seems he’s done a pretty good job. They’re #18 in scoring defense and in MAC play are only giving up 13.5 points a game. In contrast, their scoring offense is 101st in the county.

He's a great guy and great for our community here. Team is playing hard. They should have beaten North Texas. If you find a replay and watch the last 8-10 mins of the game WMU completely blew the game with mental errors. Ill-timed penalties. It was definitely a game we could have had if we just didn't make those mistakes. One reason why I don't think North Texas is that great and shouldn't make the CFP.

Put a drumming on Kennesaw to end the season in Myrtle Beach

Should have just as good a chance of being the next Notre Dame Head Coach as Clark Lea

Joking. Kind of.
