I love the era comparison stuff. I always find it fascinating. If you take the two teams, you'd have to adjust this (at least in my nerd mind) and account for either Dallas coming in with 70s era training or Miami coming in with 90s era training and such. That would level most of that off. It's like the baseball debate, would the Babe be even good in this era and vice versa... yeah, he would destroy this era too, if he were given a bunch of smaller parks, better travel, and MUCH better training, etc., with a tighter ball that travels further, and given time to adjust to it all. If you were to just drop him in straight from his era blind, then yeah,... he'd have trouble catching up to 95 mph slide pieces. The point, I guess, is you needed those eras to get to the now, so in fairness, you'd have to show respect for that while also giving the assumption that, given the opportunity, those who built the lower tiers of the pyramid would still excel if given the ability to stand on those tiers as those today do.
