IF he's getting NIL he cannot be on the scout team? No, the point is that you would be forfeiting inclusion in the team activities and training for a year for that additional pay out.

Yeah Saban never won anything except at the two schools where he spent 23 of his 28 seasons as a head coach, schools that chew up and spit out head coaches who don’t win titles but kept him as long as they could.
And if Bama and LSU were dirty, remember they were competing with wannabes like Auburn and Ole Miss that were even dirtier.
Saban didn’t win like he did because he paid players. He won because he was an all-timer at running a college football program. Cignetti - himself a Saban disciple - is a good coach for sure but I think we need to see him do more than exploit a wrinkle in transfer rules before putting him up with Saban.
Meyer is a dirtbag human being and I won’t be saying anything nice about him.
Saban is the best CFB coach I've witnessed in my near 40 years on Earth. Saban exploited the rules of his time, just like any great coach of that era did (Meyer, Dabo, Kirby). Was Alabama "dirty?" Sure, but every other SEC school was just as dirty, on top of plenty of non-SEC schools. Does that make it morally justified? I suppose not, but to act like Bama was just playing on some other playing field from every other top school of that time (minus ND, probably) is delusional.Saban is a great coach and would've eventually won wherever he coached, but he absolutely won as big as he did because he was paying players.
It's no coincidence he quit when he did. His legacy was about to get a wake up call so he bailed.
With IU's schedule, it's definitely possible. Either way, one could argue that Cig's one season accomplishment is more impressive than any of Saban's individual season, but Cignetti has about 15 more years of sustaining the last two seasons before he's in the conversation with Saban. Saban won titles at two different schools over the course of 3 separate decades on top of making multiple other NCGs. One season is one season, but twenty seasons is an entirely different thing altogether. The question is: Does Saban win the 2025 National Title at IU with the Hoosiers' roster?* .
Not following an unjust law (or rule in this case) is absolutely morally justifiable. That's Augustine and later Aquinas. It's the reasons why where it gets sticky, especially when it comes to the SEC. They certainly weren't breaking rules with the best intentions of the players in mind. But that's where Adam Smith, the market, and the "invisible hand" comes in to save the day.Does that make it morally justified? I suppose not,
Please win a champion so we can stop being clowned by indiana of all teams.
Agreed, he's in that Dabo, Kiffen, Saban, Day, Riley, Sitake, etc. realm. Fuck 'em all, little bitchesSeriously fuck this guy. I hope we get them in the playoffs this year and run it up. Then they can go back to being the doormat of college football.
They cut off the end of his quote:
“It is what it is. Big Ten schedule is tough too.”
Therein lies the truth….,
This guy gives me the feeling he crossdresses in his time away from football.
I never realized how many ND fans had such small dick syndrome.
Never said I had one just that I don’t have little dick syndrome either like a good amount of ND fans here. It’s almost like IU winning is an insult to your manhood. Like your life is so shitty some non-football school that happens to be in the same state winning the title is just to much for your shitty life to take. Not you personally but those that have this irrational hatred toward IU or Cigneti. It’s almost like get the fuck off the internet and find a life. 🤣🤣🤣Congrats on your large dick
