I had no problem at all with that "ad". Of course I was a prof, so my opinion about listening closely to words connected to pictures, and not judging things until thoroughly investigated and analyzed, and honoring freedom-with-responsibility in education, is a bit biased in such matters.
For me, it was just another Cheer Cheer for Old Notre Dame.
... also, believing that any such thing threatens the Catholic Faith (in a Notre Dame setting featuring Grottoes and Masses and Golden Domes of Mary,) shows a bit of lack of Faith in God's abilities and the Grace of Place.
