This entire post is useless. As pointed out, when your QB alone gives the ball away 5 times, although the last pick 6 was not his fault, your chances of winning are crushed.
Look, the young men fought hard to make it a game after getting embarrased there for a while. And although we could make an argument that if we could change about 8 minutes of game time (last few minutes of 1st, early 2nd quarters, and last 5 minutes of 4th), the outcome is probably in our favor, it's pointless because that's just not how it works.
I'm as disappointed as anyone with the outcome but how in the world do you start making blanket statements that the gameplan was terrible. Last weekend, I coached my son's flag football team in the championship game. I thought about how to call the game all week and had a plan set. By halftime, that went out of the window based on how the game played out. Gentlemen, things don't always go as planned and sometime you have to make adjustments while facing live bullets. We lost a game that we could have won... its that simple. Accept it for what it is and let's move on gents.
