The DC guys may not be able to avoid this type of stuff with Affleck involved. Man I do not know about that choice. I like Affleck and I know he is an uber comic guy but damn.....just....damn...

Im so jacked for this movie. Thats new costume is amazing! I love love love the small ears on the cowl. The new 52 Jim Lee feeling to the lines in the suit, while keeping a Frank Miller stocky bulky feel from TDKR. And that Bat symbol is my favorite. I love everything about this pic.

Edit: Oh and how about that batmobile?? It looks like the perfect cross between the classic long chassis look and the military grit of the Nolan films tumbler.

I'm definitely not as excited about this as what's happening with marvel. This movie is just too rushed. There's no buildup like there was with the Avengers. Ben has never been batman before and Henry C has only been superman once. If Man of Steel had come out during the Dark Knight movies I think this, the batman vs. superman movie, would have been a better idea. Basically DC is trying to catch up to Marvel but Marvel is soooo far ahead right now.

I liked the portrayal of Supes by HC, but the story was weak. It seemed like they were going for the dark edgy feel of the Nolan Batman movies which just isn't the general public's of Clark Kent's alter ego. Also, I have to admit, I have never been a fan of the actor who played Zod

They need to cash in before the superhero bubble bursts. The way things are going we could easily see half a dozen superhero films a year, not to mention all of those TV shows (Arrow, Flash, Agents of Shield, Gotham, all seven trillion planned Marvel TV projects). People are going to be sick of them before too long.

Unlike other uber comic geeks I will at least wait till a trailer is released before deciding if Ben Affleck will suck as batman or be awesome. I hope this leads to justice league and I hope justice league brings it. I hope it has the seven core members (batman, superman, Wonder Woman, flash, green lantern, aquaman, and Martian Manhunter). I loved the Avengers both in comics and the movie but when I think of super hero teams the Justice League will always be the one for me and I hope to after being a comic reader since I was 6 years old to finally see that team brought to life on the big screen.

I can live with cyborg and captain marvel in the JL but basically I don't want green lantern or flash to not be part of the team. I'm scared they won't include GL because his movie under-achieved. GL is one of the most important parts of the team and I hope they have him in there. I also hope that right of the bat Darksied is the villian.
