What a win. ND football just hasn’t won big games like this (and last 2 as well) in the last 20 years, I’m still pinching myself to make sure it’s not a dream. All that said, still was super impressed with Penn States o-coordinator and his creativeness not only calling plays but pre-snap and also his use of tempo.
Maybe we’re to far on the depth chart and with many transfers playing right now but it’s where Id love to see ND get to. We struggle to get calls in, snap the ball with little shifting and many times as the play clock is expiring which let’s the defense just t-off on us.

Boarding my flight out of MIA right now - holy hell that game took years off my life. Lots of Irish fans with tired smiles - brilliant.
May the beauracracy of TSA screenings and heavily subsidized private air travel be kind to you today sir.

3rd worst win percentage vs AP top 5 teams *so far*.

Give him another year or two (haven't looked at their schedule), he'll jump Beamer.
They play Oregon and Ohio St. next season, so that could be two more. Their non-conference schedule is always garbage, so it just depends on who they get in the BIG10 schedule year-to-year.

That's how may mind was as well. I think that was the most emotional up and down game since USC 2005. Although, we won without an illegal Bush push. F the Big 12 and just as a reminder, we can't forget the good old Pac 10 officials that still need a good old fashioned F-U too

Mitch Jeter is so indicative of freeman’s approach. By all rights he should have been benched - he was literally the worst fbs kicker. But he sticks by his guy and he delivers the game of a lifetime. Coach Marcus what are you capable of?

I’ve seen many kicks draw. In fact, most do. Halfway there, I expected it go back left. Maybe it was the magnitude of the kick that have people in disbelief?

I think it's the magnitude but also the sharpness of the draw. Like it wasn't casual, it was significant and fast. But I'm with you, I didn't think wide right for a second. We didn't have time because the draw back to the middle was so quick.

Lots of kicks start out relatively straight and then draw.

Jeter’s kick was actually veering to the right and then drew back to the left. I don’t ever recall seeing that before unless it was because of the wind. On Jeter’s kick the flags on top of the goal posts were dead still.

Yeah kick started slicing a foot to the right it seemed then snap hooked (drew) left at the perfect time. Unless it had to do with the tv angle is the only thing I can think of. Now that kick would be a good science analysis from that sport nerd show.
