We have been living and not dying by next man up so u expect someone to step up and play their tails off. Only but runs that were significant gains against IU was when we stunted opposite of the play or were mis aligned and gave a great numbers advantage. Its not like we don't belong so lets act like we've been here before and keep weathering the storm by kicking ass! Ball control and timely plays on defense will bring home the W!

It's a big play making loss at DT. But, with Rubio/Mukam/ maybe some Sevillano - you just count of them to hold the point of attack at a similar level (not crazy). A bit more pressure on the edges to stay set - need a couple extra impact plays out of the LB's (they're up for it).

Line was ND -1.5 Move to +1.5 After the IU game. Vegas assumed he was likely out
Mills would not shift the line by 3 points. DL don't typically have a huge impact on the spread. The line moved 3 points as soon as it was put up because so much sharp money came in on Georgia immediately.

I think you’ll see Golden come up with some designed blitz packages make them beat us by throwing it. Let sneed Bowen Ausberry Schular tee off
Robbing Peter to pay Paul is not going to work. Especially someone like Oben, opposite of his skillset.

Need Rubio to play starters minutes. Hinish and likely Mukam to give them some. Maybe some three man fronts but that is counter to the likely game pla

This and also it is now ND +2.5 on FanDuel.

Sucks to lose Mills. We need some guys to eat up space and let our LBs clean up behind. Thankfully we have the back end of the defense that we do, especially against a backup QB. I trust our guys to come up with a great plan despite this huge loss.

Offense might have to win us this game and we need to create pressure on their QB to make mistakes need 2 takeaways

The ND -1.5 was released by Fanduel even before the IU game. It didn’t move due to “sharp money”. The limits at a place like FD are not enough to warrant that. Most of the syndicates also would have money tied up with NFL on Sunday. It’s real books that will take real money began posting UGA -1.5 so mass books just copy.

Yup. There's no way that "sharps" can move the line significantly at a place like FD. Anybody that makes money off of FD gets limited out pretty quick.

O’Malley & Brice see Mills injury as a ”bridge too far” but I think O’Malley is referring to the entire run (3 more games) to win the CFP which is asking a lot of this defense. One game at a time & trust the staff to put ND in the best situation possible.

Feels pretty good to be here amongst you fans to see ND beat the demons off their backs by playing and then beating Georgia. ND will never get the CFB respect until they get the W on 01 January. Here's to the DL and OL stepping up big, the three-headed rushing attack playing big, and the team playing as one. The Irish can do this and I feel pretty good - despite the setbacks. ☘️

The culture in that building is such that they're going to prepare and get ready. No one is going to feel sorry for themselves. Considering the injuries they've endured this season already, it's just another obstacle that's in the way that needs to be removed.

Georgia is most likely without their starting QB. No excuses. Continue to line up and win.

* This makes 7/9 of the pre-season starters on OL and DL out for the year

So many injuries this year, but I'm a bit worried that Mills is the straw that breaks the camel's back. Mills and Cross were a nice 1-2 punch. I'm not sure Cross alone will be enough, he'll be double teamed and that's that. I hope our boys find a way to step up again though.

Kinda gives me Clemson 2018 vibes. We had been holding the line all year and even in that game, but then we lost Love for a bit and maybe Gilman? Either way, the depth issue finally reared it's ugly head and Clemson attacked while blood was in the water. By the time Love worked his way back in the damage was done.

Clemson was without an All American DT in that game who was suspended (Dexter Lawrence).

They were just much, much better than everyone that year. Injuries didn’t play a factor like they will this time around.

Its nowhere's near 7. Craig is the only OLM who started vs TA&M who is definitely out. Spindler is questionable.

Mills, Bothelo and Craig are the only starters for the first game out. jagusah has never played a down in our 12 wins. Troare was never a starter either, he played behind Bothelo.

The woe is me shit is really getting out of hand here.

The 7/9 figure includes the starters who were injured (amazingly) in fall camp, i.e., before A&M.

Hence the title of “preseason starters”

Nobody is woe is me, just pointing it out.

Agree 7 of 9 a silly number, but Jagusah would start if he was healthy and Traore was trending toward being better than Botelho, at least at pass rushing. Who started Game 1 is not necessarily who starts Game 14.
