Has Onye's "personal matter" ever been addressed?

Mills is a huge loss. By losing Beck, I assume Georgia will go ultra conservative and play smash mouth football.

Denbrock better be prepping to scheme something up. We must be more effective offensively and we'll need to put up more points than usual. Our WRs and TE simply cannot drop passes, RL must make plays both with his arm and legs and he cannot turn the ball over, and we must have better pass protection going forward. Any field goal opportunities must be money.

It is what it is. We're so thin, but it's a part of the game, unfortunately.

I have strong doubts about our ability to stop the run without Mills. This might be the straw that broke the camels back but I hope Golden and the players have a steely determination, perhaps we can punch above our weight class for this one.

I don't claim to know football well at this level, but it seems to me DT requires the least knowledge/experience of any position. Just plug holes and get pressure up the middle. Maybe a silver lining?

Clemson beat us and Bama without Dexter Lawrence, right?
Yes, but keep in mind that they still had Austin Bryant, Clelen Ferrell and Christian Wilkins.

ND's situation is like if ND lost Lawrence, as well as Ferrell, Bryant and Albert Huggins just for good measure. It's basically just Howard Cross out there, unless Bryce Young turns into the second coming of Clowney in the Sugar Bowl, and Donny Hinish channels his inner Kurt.

Which other playoff teams have lost ~80% of their expected starters on the lines? Any?

Yes the Mills injury hurts but like many have said, time to nut up and someone needs to step up and play their asses off. No better place to make a name for yourself than the Sugar bowl!

I know he’s been underwhelming at getting to the QB but any chance they slide Oben inside? Just from his playing experience. Not saying that’s the answer but purely due to DT numbers being so low.

I said that or move Young inside

Who is the Albert Huggins loss?

And I’m a little more confident given that Burnham, Cross, and Rubio may be the healthiest they’ve been all season.

Imagine being Devan Houstan and not even being able to make the depth chart even at this point.
Someone on II (Prister?) said a few weeks ago that they haven't really heard anything positive about Houstan.

Robbing Peter to pay Paul is not going to work. Especially someone like Oben, opposite of his skillset.

Need Rubio to play starters minutes. Hinish and likely Mukam to give them some. Maybe some three man fronts but that is counter to the likely game plan

I think we're going to see run blitzes like crazy up the middle. Not ideal to take a guy off the play but with a new QB maybe it's as good of a time as any to get away with it.

I doubt we see that. You stick with what got you here. Going to a 3 front opens up more chances for missed assignments or being out of position unless they've practiced it a lot this year. As everyone has said, everyone on the line will need to step up and contribute.

The positive which several have already mentioned, is that injuries are nothing new, but the staff has found a way to minimize their losses.
