New Intel this week... focuses on Irish Invasion. Goes prospect by prospect talking about the guys who will be in attendance. Biggest nuggets to me are that huge number of scratches that I hadn't heard yet... Jerome Baker, Austin Mack, etc. have all cancelled.
Also, apparently Waller hasn't even locked in a visit to ND yet for this weekend/next week. Like we talked about a little bit in his thread last night, this one just does not feel right.

Any ideas on why all of the cancelations?
It's not like kids would just all of a sudden a) get the invite or b) remember that don't have the funds
There are now very few people attending that we're looking to pop or are seriously recruiting. Lots of committed guys (but not as many as would be hoped either) and lots of people looking for an offer. Shrug.
Most of the really interesting guys either:
1. Just popped at the OSU camp.
2. Cancelled to attend this 7on championship thing (Core 6 and AWP are both participating)
3. Cancelled for no apparent reason.
Jacques Patrick is basically the only '15 guy I care about in attendance anymore. Josh Adams isn't working out most likely. Justin Hilliard will be there too, but I think the ship has sailed here.
Yep, Patrick is an extreme long shot as well so not really holding my breath with him. Sucks about Baker, was really hoping we could impress him and get in that race but looking like its all OSU. I'm just hoping we make a huge impression on Henry
Yeah, Baker not showing is a kick in the gut. Still feeling good about LB though. Barajas on board already, Coney is giving good vibes and then there is Bilal which I really, really want. Hilliard I have no idea, but I guess you never know.

I'm really high on Ykili Ross, Coney, Bellamy, and Austin Bryant. If the Hilliard ship has truly sailed then Coney would be a nice consolation prize at MLB.
Ship has sailed with Hilliard according to who? lol you guys are nuts

OK true. NVM, there are still a lot of important dudes.

New Intel is out:
ISD Intel (6/27)
Not sure what we settled on regarding summaries, so I'll refrain for now. I will say this, however- pretty sobering news regarding '15 QBs, nut and overal very optimistic Intel.
Yeah, the QB notes are as expected. Never got involved with Francois, with Waller I'd say (this is not in the Intel) that we're way down his list and he's likewise way down ours. Then you have Stidham, who most people feel is destined to decommit from Texas Tech. As Intel alludes to, he's starting to make visits (specifically he recently visited Oregon) and also does definitely like Baylor. He's really the only guy left on the radar and is a big long shot... after that, I we pass unless a late bloomer pops up. IMO, we should be aiming to take a depth piece this year as there are too many scenarios where we could be left with 2 scholarship QBs next year.
It's important to note that even with Waller's July 1st timeline shit could get weird. If Stidham pops for Oregon then Waller can't commit there. Then Waller would be looking at USC/Ohio State... and he doesn't have an offer from either. Then it'd be down to Northwestern/Notre Dame... NW would love to have him, don't know about ND. Neither has offered. So wtf? Does he try committing to a place he can't commit to if Stidham pops in a couple days?
ESB is intriguing because I like where we sit, but without a QB (and especially if Waller goes to USC) I think he stays out west.
Solid intel this week focused on what they heard at The Opening. Feeling is that Tillery will stick, ND is passing on a QB in this cycle, and Coney could be headed our way.
Most interesting point of note is that we seem to be heads up with UCLA for Jamabo. To get the full picture, head over to ISD to check it out.
