I interpret it something along the lines of “you’re too good to be held, you should get off the block before you get held” rather than “I don’t call holding against All-Americans”

Obviously if the ref knew it was holding he should have thrown the flag.

sounds like the ref was just being a little cheeky Witt Kyle.

nice nugget too and mentioned on ISD, When Tyler threw his first pick Kyle Hamilton went to him and told him to shake it off and after the game Tyler came back to Hamilton to let him know how much it meant to him that he said that to him at that time

Listened to the first four minutes. We have some awesome men in the program. I’m blown away by their response just hours after.

I loved Cam Harts response:
”I didn’t commit to Kelly, I committed to the school. I’ve had friends recruiting me to their schools already. I’ve had people ask me if I’m okay. Im fine. I committed to the school.”

Hamilton on next coach: “I think it should be Marcus Freeman”

It was long. Had a bunch of different current and former players speak including Hamilton Kmet, Book, Golic, and then Eli Raridan. No news from it really. Assaf says it's Freeman. Raridan is all in regardless but everyone will love it if it's Freeman. Most the players seem happy for Kelly and don't blame him but are obviously disappointed. They really above everyone else want ND to retain Balis. Raved about him. Book said Rees was the best coach he's ever had.

Does anyone think the players will miss their "relationship" with Kelly? Pretty clear the kids are closer to the assistants (especially Freeman). Only anxiety they probably have is what happens to the staff / possibly concerns with schematic changes on the field (more so for O)

I love these kids. They are just right. And they, like people of that age, can into some incredibly teenage discusssion, like taking a punch from Mike Tyson and a Golden Dome over the stadium.

I like them and trust them. And I hope they keep it going.

Marcus Freeman is the guest on today's episode (recorded Sundayish?)

Anyway, my TLDR summary
- Marcus Freeman is cool af and "gets" life. What a freaking incredible story he gives about his lessons learned in life. And the way he can relate to the other kids (hosts) is unreal. There's no guessing why he does so well recruiting.

Trying to get caught up on the last few episodes and listened to Tuck this morning. He's really impressive and the guys are getting much more comfortable as hosts. Tuck has mentioned he's been in touch with Freeman multiple times about how he can help with recruiting. Looking forward to finishing the McGlinchey episode and then hearing more about what Freeman has to say.

What a good interview with Freeman. I think he gets it. Lets just see if he can win. These guys host a good show too
