I'm surprised that that Colts have any wins at this point. If Luck comes back after the bye they could do some real damage...

I'm not. They have some talent. D is decent, just got worn down from spending the entire second half on the field. The problem is Pagano. I always felt it was a combination of Grigson and Pagano. Grigson's gone and I don't see Pagano lasting past this season. If Irsay has any man thingies hanging down, he'd send Pagano packing now. This team plays well one half, then disappears. Never see any adjustments at halftime. Titans start blitzing in the second half and the Colts did little to counter. Can't keep splitting your backs out knowing the blitz is coming.

If you Colts fans are not following @CaptAndrewLuck on Twitter, you are really missing out.

Besides Luck, Colts have very little talent, anywhere on the field. Their 2 wins have come against teams that have combined to win zero games.

Sure some of the losing is on Pagano, but a lot of that is on their front office. I think the fact that they have been competitive and/or lead in every game this year, is a helluva job by the coaching staff.

I'm not going to say the coaching staff has done a helluva job, but I'm not going to condemn Pagano right now either. So long as Luck is out, I'm giving the coaching staff a bit of a break. I don't like second half adjustments though, so that's all on them.

Lack of talent is the big thing. Grigson screwed the pooch and I don't put that on Pagano. If Luck comes back and the Colts rally, I'd give him another year. Hard for me to endorse firing a guy when your best player (by far) is out.

If Luck can come back while the south is still close, there's always a chance. If the division lead gets more than 3 games, I'd keep Luck out the entire season. Just my opinion.

You still on board with Pagano?

As much as I like the Colts, I am really hoping they tank the rest of the way. Sitting at #4 in the draft as it stands. They almost blew it yesterday with that two point conversion until they threw the flag for an illegal block.

Colts expected to hire Josh McDaniels as head coach

I like the hire honestly but unless we find someone to protect Luck it is pointless IMO who the coach is. I hope that McDaniels has learned from his second go around with the Pats and his experience is better this time around as an NFL HC.

Also the draft scares me for the Colts. I want them to stay away from Barkley but I'm not sure who else they should take at #3.

They can get him later If they trade there spot to someone looking for a qb.

Personally they should take Chubb then try and trade back into first for a OL

I would rather have Michel. I just dont like taking a RB that high in the draft when we need so many pieces. Our OL, DL, LB, DB all need help. We can always sign a journeyman at RB to get us through the season.

Why don't you want them to draft Barkley?

They have bigger position needs than RB. If you cant protect the QB then you have nothing. Look at what the Patriots are doing with there RB's. They would never waste a high draft pick on the RB position. IMO if you aren't trying to build your team based on what the Pats are doing then you are wrong.

I agree, we don’t need Barkley at this point, we need o and d line. I hate the mcdaniels hire, but WTF can you do?

As a Colts fan, get the best offensive linemen avaiable.

Would love the Colts to snag Nelson at #3

I hope McDaniels has learned from his stint in Denver. He had everybody including the night watchman hating him.

I would love for the colts to grab Q. Our biggest need is the O-line. Trade down for extra picks and grab Q, then some D line help. Luck can make an average RB look good if the O-line can keep him on his feet.

My apologizes. I wouldn't mind getting B Chubb but I think the #3 pick is a little high for him. If we could somehow trade back and then get an O Lineman and another pick in a high round that is what I would like to see.

I’d be happy with that pick. We need a lot of help everywhere though. OL, DL, CB. I’d be happy with Fitzpatrick as well.

From what I've read, Fitzpatrick projects to safety, and with the Hooker pick last year, I'm not so sure safety is a need.

If that's the case then yeah I'd say stick with the DL, unless you trade down a few picks and get an OT. This team can neither rush the passer or protect their own passer.

Would you be okay with Q?

Depends on what spot they would draft him? If they stay at 3? No, I'd have to pass in favor of Chubb. If they trade down to like 6-8 then yeah I'd be happy with Q. I also think they need a RB but that can probably be addressed later in the draft instead of picking Barkley.

This is where I'm at. I hope they trade down, get Q and a couple of extra picks. IMO the Oline needs to be addressed before anything else. Luck can cover up a lot of shortcomings if he can stay upright.

Florio and others reporting that is possible that McDaniels will renege and stay with New England. Man, I hope that happens. We don’t need Patriot dirt bags.

I heard it on the broadcast last night and they only mentioned Florio saying this.
