Anyone know when we should hear something about Rocco and Young?

Great atmosphere overall. Game got a little sleepy in the third but the first quarter was absolutely electric. Loves TD was a top 3 moment ive seen in that stadium. We had 12 of us and never sat once. Go Irish!!!

Took a lot of personal satisfaction as a fan in that win last night. It wasn't as close as the final score. Watching at home on TV you could feel the electricity on that campus and in that stadium. It was awesome. I can't imagine having been there. Had to have been special if I could feel it from my living room.

They have a tremendous coaching staff and a great group of kids. UGA is going to be a much tougher test. But bring it on.

The bed wetting bitches in this site can eat shit. Don’t make me name you, you know who you are. Onto New Orleans. Fucking love this team. Go Irish.
No need to make this so personal,……..

The fact that Indiana was getting pressure rushing four is problematic moving forward.

This defense is the most athletic I’ve seen since Holtz. Would be all time great if healthy on d line.
Awesome win but that’s one of my worries, too. Leonard seemed to be under constant duress. The injuries are also problematic. It’s like the rush end position is cursed.

I felt this last night too. Includes folks in and outside of the fanbase. Mostly outside of, but nevertheless. Loving Notre Dame Football can be frustrating but it doesn't have to be miserable.

It is most important of life's least important things. Enjoy it.

Glad to hear that... I'm curious to hear those who were there's thoughts on what they thought of the environment
It was unreal. By far, greatest atmosphere I’ve been a part of. Everyone stood and cheered the entire game. Music, lights, and video board were all great. Will be buzzing for days. So happy I got to experience it with my son.

Updated FPI, still sitting at #2 but within .9 of #1 Texas.

All the advanced metrics think Indiana is legitimately one of the 8-12 best teams in the country. Probably won’t get the credit for dominating them like we did bc of their brand. They’re a good team.

Very awesome. Watching it I think there was a point where I decided we need to take our three to a game in the fall. It's definitely time.

A couple of friends were there, two OGs from this board actually, and they said the same.

I'm telling you, I was amped up at home from the energy. You could hear it on TV and just felt it. Barely sat still.

I'd just like to thank our former coach, Brian Kelly, for leaving and gifting us Marcus Freeman. Without him leaving, none of this is possible
Didn’t he say he’d be sipping mai tais on a beach somewhere? Wonder if he was able to watch the game.

Good Stuff:
  • Al Golden's game plan for 57 mins
  • Riley Leonard's execution and confidence all game (not perfect but mostly composed)
  • Faison looked so damn good
  • Love is unlike any player I can remember in an Irish uniform. The thinnest crease or negative play can be flipped in a blink
  • OL fought through with shuffling
  • Aneyas Williams had a very good game
  • Loghan Thomas with a sack
  • Xavier Watts is so good
  • Leonard Moore somehow was underhyped by Ben Mo when he told the media, "Moore will be better than me".
  • Denbrock called a good game. It never fully clamped down
  • Money Mitch is back?!?!
Less Good Stuff:
  • We really need Spindler back, the high snapping will kill drives against Georgia
  • We need Bryce Young back, we can't lose our 3rd DE
  • We need Mills at 100% - destroyer
  • We need Love at 100% - such a weapon
  • Georgia is formidable, that will be a battle of wills.
Speaking of needing guys at 100% How did Cross look? Seemed like he was on the sideline as much as in game action. That ankle had a considerable wrap on it. Those high ankle sprains never seem to fully go away.

Showing my age here… Tim Brown
Been watching from way before him. Timmy is the most electric I’ve seen with Rocket right there. No disrespect to Love but he’s not there yet. He has the tools and attitude and is on his way to being there.

This play and the Leonard TD where he pulled it and ran in untouched were the two plays where I cackled at my TV last night. One play was athleticism and the other was scheme, but both are situations where you say "Oh man we're just playing with our food here."

Ridiculous how fast our LBs close and finish open field tackle.
Definitely felt once the lead was secure both coordinators went bland, which is good.
Riley made some plays with his arm last night and I was impressed at our guys ability to catch the ball clean with their hands in those conditions.

Fuck it, if our guys can get healthy we can beat anyone. This team is fun to watch and violent.

Soak it in and enjoy it. Dominated a *playoff game* against an 11-1 top ten team. Win or lose against Georgia, Freeman has the team competing better than ever against top competition.
Exactly

Just enjoy a big win

No one is going to feel sorry with our injuries when Georgia is down their starting qb

Might have been posted higher but someone said we wouldn’t be able to keep Sneed plus all 3 LB’s and with Farimo coming in. I think regardless all 5 will play a lot plus injuries happen. Not to mention we lose Kiser but Farimo and Sneed are gonna be used a lot on 3rd down blitz packages and wouldn’t be surprised if they play some Vyper as well.

They did a hell of a job. Nothing really seemed awkward or forced. Fans were constantly engaged. My flask didn’t run out until early into the fourth. It was a great night.
Had an audible laugh when the flamboyantly gay guy in front of me screamed out “I want to fuck you Kmet!” when they showed Cole on the field.
