Florida Republican: Immigration efforts needed ‘course correction a long time ago’

“We should have been focusing on criminals and gang members and people with active deportation orders,” the Republican congressman added.

“I don’t think we should have been focusing on people that have been here for a long time, grandmothers, etc., that happen to be in a neighborhood when you’re doing an enforcement action.”

Well, I’ll be…

Thanks for that elegant defense of assault on women with an opinion. You are a proud American with wholesome family values.
She's welcome to have whatever opinion she wants and to express it too. She's NOT allowed to assault a guy just walking by her because she doesn't like him. She needed to realize actions have consequences and have the shit slapped out of her for assaulting him.

Nope, the “quote” and second statement in your meme are 100% fabricated. She also did not leave the diary behind at a mental facility.
I'm aware it wasn't left behind at a mental institute. Honestly, I didn't see that part on the meme, but no, that's not how it came to be in someone else's possession. That being said, where & how it came to be in someone else's possession has no bearing on the fact that she claimed her dad molested her and took unwanted showers with her. You're defending a creep.
Rather the diary was stolen from her when she left it behind and sold to Project Veritas with another right wing blog leaking it. The woman who stole it from her and sold it spent time in prison. Even Project Veritas the whole thing was problematic and unsavory enough to publish it.

But, let’s talk more about Don Lemon and unsavory journalistic practices. You guys love having it both ways.
Those who committed a crime in stealing it should be punished. Lemon committed a crime and should be punished too.
Maybe try to learn something on your own instead of relying on memes like a fucking 10 year old.
If I only posted memes you might have a point, but I usually engage in debate and slaughter you guys doing so. If I don't use memes, then I have to use my big words and you and the other usual suspects then get your asses handed to you, your feeling hurt, and you spend all day crying about it, so...
Ashley Biden referenced “showers with my dad (probably not appropriate)” while conducting a stream of consciousness exercise in which she was reflecting on recovery from substance abuse and other childhood traumas. She also has stated in court that her innermost thoughts were “grossly misinterpreted” to “peddle grotesque lies” and amounted to defamation.
Total BS. Stop with the lies and spin. He's a creep.
Totally the same as Trump being BFF’s with Epstein for 15 years plus and running beauty shows for teens while bragging about sneaking backstage.
You do know that Trump distanced himself from Epstein years ago and Epstein hated him. The BFF stuff is just wishful thinking on your part.

An accusation, claim, occurrence, or any mention of molestation or any other sexual abuse or misconduct has never been made, in public nor in a private diary.

That is 100% fabricated, for the third time, and only exists on bogus memes.

Epstein said, “I was Donald’s closest friend for 10 years.”

That’s not wishful thinking. That’s reality.

1- You’re wackadoodle theories about Donnie and the boys messing with the voting machines in 2016 is funny. Which states are banning the hand counting of ballots? Glad to see you’re a full fledged election denier though.
2- Looking at Oregon with 800k inactive voters on the voter roll, Georgia with 400k+ and then look at the shenanigans Fulton County GA pulled in 2020, which are far more verifiable than any Donnie and the machines tin foil bs.
How many instances have we already seen of illegals registered to vote? We’re told it’s not allowed, but it keeps popping up. You could argue it’s still not common, but it is being found. Perhaps if you read the news instead of silly straw man comedy bits from left wing hacks, you’d be more aware.
We also heard the same thing on illegal immigrants not receiving government healthcare and Dems have just moved on to that’s a good thing and we’re doing it for millions.
We need to get voter ID validate citizenship with these votes. It’s not our fault the dems made a mess that requires some controls to prevent illegal votes.

Or this funny new Nicki Minaj take is pretty good too. Glad they lost her and you can hear from one of your old voters.

Wackadoodle conspiracies!!!***

Then proceeds to go into Temu Alex Jones where there’s hundreds of thousands of sneaky voters. They just so happened to cheat in 2020, but not in 2024 even though they won in 2020. All makes a lot of sense. Is that what they teach in senior year at Trump University?

Something poetic about Drayer using a black rapper as a token (remember it’s just the Left that does DEI) to just say the same gargly goop that any MAGAMAMA1488 says, oh and that it’s RT with the watermark. Top marks.

There's a lot of spin in your denial. Biden's daughter later claimed her words had been taken out of context and she denied specifically claiming he'd taken inappropriate showers with her or molesting her, she DID claim this stuff in her diary. Sounds a lot like she just downplayed it without actually denying it under family pressure. Her own words in her own diary were alarming and tell of inappropriate behavior. You can spin and claim she never publicly accused him, but she wrote what she wrote about his behavior.

What Epstein claimed is irrelevant. There's no evidence at all that Trump ever visited Epstein's private island. He and Epstein ended their friendship long ago and there's zero evidence Trump ever participated in any of Epstein's illegal activities with young girls. You and I both know that if he had and anyone on the left had evidence of that, we'd have seen it by now. Anything else is just wishful thinking on your part.

Dude, come on, what the hell do you think you're doing every time you defend Donnie on here? He's a pedophile narcissist and has demonstrated these characteristics throughout most of his life; maybe once he started thinking about running for president, he toned down some of it, which is not saying much. The guy basically said he would like to date his own daughter. Talk about creepy.

I don't care if he did finally distance himself from Epstein. The shit he did with Epstein to teenage girls, ripping off businesses, stealing business ideas, locking people up in the courts until they gave up / ran out of $, running his casinos into bankruptcy. He's the worst of the worst as a human being. He's a piece of shit and his days are numbered, but he's your guy. I would be ashamed to support this him.

People say we need a businessman in the Oval Office - I would say the opposite, we need someone who can lead government and the country and its people, and lead (what used to be) the world leader of democracy. They don't call the position CEO of the United States.

And integrity and character are important and necessary. Does the person have to perfect? Hell no, we have had remarried presidents, presidents with mistresses, etc., but a convicted felon, sexual abuser, and narcissist who could give two shits about the country and most of its citizens is the worst thing that could happen to the good ole US of A, and we're seeing the destruction in real time, and in a highly accelerated manner.

Unless the mid terms go off free and fair, we are done and it will likely be 8-10 years before the corruption, depravity, and darkness are excised from our country.

Trump's business practices and lots of things in his life leave a lot to be desired. Nobody's denying that. However, the accusations of pedophilia and trips to Epstein's island are not only unconfirmed, but there's zero evidence for them and they're very unlikely. Just disliking the guy is no reason to make stuff up. And no, he's not my guy. I never voted for him, but certainly preferred him over Harris, Biden, or Hillary. I just get tired of the over-the-top made up BS. There are enough genuine things to criticize. You don't have to let hatred cause you to make up stuff.

You're delusional.

Just in the Epstein files they've released and allowed us to see Trump is mentioned 5,300 times. More than any other individual. Epstein called him his best friend. He flew on his plane how many times? All the creepy comments he's made about women, his own daughter, girls in the teen pageants he ran. All of the accusations in the tips the FBI has received about him.

To say it is very unlikely is ridiculous.

Great, more wishful thinking with no evidence. He never visited Epstein's island and Epstein calling him his best friend years ago is offset by the fact that Trump ended their friendship many years ago and Epstein hated him after that. And we both know that if there was even a bit of actual evidence against Trump on this, the left would've reported it to the nth degree before the '24 elections. You have nothing because there's nothing there. Wishful thinking is worthless. This is no more real than the Steele dossier you guys fell for a decade ago.

They're such reasonable thoughtful people.

He should've spun around on her and slapped the living shit out of her for assaulting him. Just laid her crazy ass out as a lesson to not do stupid stuff like that. If you're tough enough to assault someone like she did, you're tough enough to take the repercussions.

These are brainwashed loons who can't debate, can't reason, can't defend their position, and for most of them, have no actual idea why they're opposing this policy or that. Most of them just parrot whatever the nonsense du jour is. They just scream and have tantrums like this goofy lady. As soon as you hit them with some facts or ask them to explain their position, they get mad and fall apart. It's like watching an entire herd of cows with mad cow disease.

These are not her own words. These are words you are making up.

Pretty funny, you accuse me of spin while using the phrase “sounds like” in your argument. I have used facts and quotes.

How’s Trump’s own words for evidence? SOUNDS LIKE you reject reality to try justify protecting a pedophile.

Understand your getting at people cheating the social safety net. Nobody would argue it’s not an issue. I’d argue it’s a necessary evil. People use those benefits for the right reasons all the time and they make vast differences in people’s lives while making tangible differences in society. We never pay attention to the positive influences of benefits, but we do harp on the minority who take advantage.
Your previous comment was about complacency and people not taking risks. Sure there is fraud, and obviously that is bad. My point is that even the “good“ that welfare provides is also making people complacent. I come from a family and a community of welfare recipients. Everyone is an expert on how to balance how much can I get away with actually working while also maintaining benefits. I just spoke with someone two days ago that quit a decent paying job with tremendous growth opportunity because she lost the majority of her benefits. She quit this job because her overall take home while just a little less after food stamps, free insurance and subsidize housing that it did not make sense for her to go to work. On paper, this would be seen as a good thing without context. Welfare was meant to subsidize not support. There should be limits.
Tax cheating and aggressive avoidance is very prevalent too. American taxpayers lose far more from tax cheats than benefit fraud (although it’s difficult to measure how many are legally taking advantage of benefits). But we tend to focus on one and not the other. Why is that?
In the context of the whole argument, tax cheating and being aggressive avoiders of taxes, usually does not result in laziness, complacency, and lack of risk on the part of the taxpayer. I think you have forgotten what we are even talking about.
Similarly, with it becoming easier to end marriages, and I don’t disagree with the sentiment of people not sticking it out as much. Alternatively, I don’t think anyone would want someone to feel stuck in an abusive marriage only because there’s no practical way out.
Okay, cool. Again, you’re the one making the argument of complacent non-risk takers in society. I’m just simply pointing out reasons why.
My point with the anecdote on the STEM competition is these are club teams, open to anyone trying to join. Those who chose to do so were largely non-white. There was one Catholic school (all white boys), one Islamic school (mix of boys and girls), and eight public schools (mostly non-white, mostly girls). You may know better than I, but I highly doubt public schools are dictating who joins clubs based on race and gender. It could be quite telling who took up the opportunity to join.
You can look at this one of two ways. You can see this as a problem or you can see this as a positive. In my opinion, the lack of white people, or even white boys should be concerning or at least have you questioning why there is a lack of representation. But instead, you are using this as an argument for immigration.

I'll give Bantry credit - only person to actively defend Biden's "honor". That is some serious commitment to the cause.

Suckling off the government teat is on equal moral standing as paying taxes for the record. Commie leaches.

As much as I would love to rub this in some faces - Irish, Italian and so on probably respond the same way depending on how this survey is conducted. My wife is half Italian (4th gen American born) and identifies as Italian.

Work visas like candy - not citizenship like candy. Half these people don’t want citizenship anyway.

Part of my job is vetting people for national security positions. We ask a lot of loyalty questions. One question that make people stumble is, if the US and (your home country) went to war, whose side would you be on? The fact that this was a hard question spoke volumes to me.

ICE and at-large roundups are nothing more than a racket to make Core Civic and Geo Group and their execs uber rich; oh yeah, and a good Red State job creation program

More detainments for longer durations = Beaucoup bucks for these guys ... Pathetic.
