You don't even have to deport them, which would be expensive and difficult. Simply cut off ALL benefits of being here illegally and they'll soon deport themselves. Basically, remove all ability to obtain jobs, ID, public assistance & welfare, housing, and etc.... anything other than emergency medical care, and do so over a 6 or 12 month period so people and businesses can adjust and adapt accordingly. After that, if you're caught employing, housing, banking with, or in any other way providing anything other than emergency services to anyone here illegally, the fines and other punishments will be severe and not remotely close to being worth it. The illegals will quickly go home. After that, if you're caught entering the US illegally or remaining here illegally, you're immediately deported and permanently ineligible for ever obtaining a work visa or visiting here again.

Blue states will defy that and put them up in the Hyatt with a debit card and run into debt until the next Blue team throws them a bailout.

Why not? It's not like Biden brags about a wide open border and 10M unverified migrants flooding our country. We didn't have a popular open-border caucus demanding this. We're all going to be flooded with coverage on how cruel the deportations are, and Dems will discover the border facilities again. Meanwhile, people will pretend we need South American crime gangs and military-age males from all over the Middle East and Asia for Agriculture. This isn't some Mexicans running across the border anymore; it's a whole new scale and problem caused by Democrats and going to be challenging to fix by Republicans. Let it begin. This election can't come fast enough.

I think he is being sarcastic. IMO, illegal immigration was the #1 issue to propel Trump to victory in 2016 and the issue was a fraction of the problem it is today. Normal people hated the state of illegal immigration in 2016 and see how it is 10x worse today. How many more Mollie Tibbetts and Laken Rileys need to happen before establishment pols get serious about it? Tibbetts happened under Trump and he still couldn't leverage that to move establishment Rs or any Ds to get serious about illegal immigration.

How many of them have American children? 3.8 million?

You're an idiot if you think the US is actually going to mass deport a population of people that is roughly the size of Ohio.

You're also an idiot if you think Congress has any willingness to solve an issue that is great material for both sides.

You're also an idiot if you think their corporate sponsors will let them deport their workforce, or make any meaningful reforms that would bring said workforce out of the shadows (and able to negotiate better wages).
