Totally Random but this is the Rio Grande majority of the year. Took these pics a few days ago. Even have a rando living in a tent under a bridge. We are about 30 miles from the border. Just thought I would share for those curious how easy it is to swim across.

I remember a national story about drownings around EP a year or two ago,… the Rio is completely dry over half the year and you have to try to drown the rest of the year,… it’s like knee high if that, small enough to throw a baseball across and barely moving. But yeah, let’s change public policy and throw out our national sovereignty bc ‘it’s dangerous’,… it’s low hanging fruit pandering bullshit just like everything else their voters guzzle down

Doing a lot more to secure the border, that's why we've got 4 times as many coming in this year compared to Trump in 2020, twice as many as 2019 pre-pandemic.
