...for now. For those that care anyways (pity me haha)

I noticed I haven't posted since the beginning of February. Since then I have moved from Dallas to Houston. As some may know I have been trying to get back into the military but they pushed that back until September. So as of now I work in the Houston jail, not the greatest job but a good experience so far. Only two months in but already have crazy stories.

I am also on the way to being a father. My wife is 14 weeks along, or 3 and a half months. She is currently on complete bed rest because of complications, so I am in charge of cleaning the house, shopping, laundry, and working. It may sound tough but when talking to the doctor and hearing how serious her condition is, I am willing to work my self beyond what a person can do. Since this is my first child it means a little more, especially after seeing the ultrasound and the little guy/girl kicking all around I would be heart broken if anything happened.

Anyways away from the "real" world things. I have been trying to follow Notre Dame as best as possible. Of recently it was great to see Jaylon Smith commit. For some reason I thought he would all along though. Maybe just my optimism though.

Hope everyone else is doing great, I just currently got the internet and cable because my wife is on bed rest. Otherwise I would have went without to save for the baby. But I would feel bad if she was sitting at home with nothing to do. She already had to do that for four days while I was at work and was a wreck haha. Deep down though I was glad to get back to my Notre Dame days.

Glad to be back as much as I can be.

Welcome back. Best of luck with your family. I hope it all turns out for you. My daughter was the best thing that ever happened to me so I hope you have the same experience.

What are you going back into? The economy is **** so i completely understand. They are downsizing like a mother****er though. All those *******s they let in with a million waivers during the buildup are now getting booted out. Any troublemakers as well. It's nice to see the high standards coming back into play. Best of luck my friend.

That doesn't bode well for military_irish getting back in then! J/K, glad to see the initiative of "re-upping" with our fighting forces! Best of luck on getting back in, Military!

Good to have you back!

Let me know if you want to grab a beer sometime. Me and the wife just moved over to the woodlands from Atascocita.

Well I'm free from my banning but that doesn't compare to this.

Yeah it has been a struggle getting back in. I was suppose to get in last year but the standards are very high. They are very strict on weight limit now. I am not a fat guy, just big but for my height I need to weigh 186 when I tried to get in I weighed 245. So of course they told me to lose the weight. I am proud to say I currently weigh 195. So even if the military thing doesn't work out I can be proud I loss 50lbs.

irishpat I would love to get a beer sometime. We will just have to figure out when because I work 2:30 pm to 10:30 pm and when I am not at work I live right next to Pasadena, TX. So that is a distance from the Woodlands, although I still have a Houston address.

P.S I will also let everyone know if anyone Houston football players end up in jail ;)

I know what you're going through. I tried last year to get back in, but this time go Marine officer, I was prior service Army. Needless to say the Marines physical fitness standards are high, and extremely high for officers, and even higher yet for those that need an age waiver. So I didn't get in. Good luck on your journey.
