Plays for the Bengals.

I need to know how he feels about Vontaze. That clown cost the Steelers a legit shot at ring #7.

On the flip side he gave them free 15 yards and could be considered the reason they got a chance this week...

Who have you voted yes for, may I ask?

I would argue that Tyler not only meets your criteria by being one of the best TE's ever to lace them up for the Irish (wouldn't that be "hugely successful alone?) and Pro Bowler in the NFL. Furthermore, he does charity speaking events, was part of the Penny Pincher campaign in Fort Wayne and gives to a bunch of charities. I also believe that he returned to school and got his degree.

I voted yes for Alan Page. All of those things for Tyler are nice, but very little of them are significant off-the-field accomplishments. A millionaire gives to a bunch of charities? I'm not dismissing it, I just don't think it is significant. Alan Page founded a charity that has provided financial and mentoring assistance to over 6,000 impoverished students, and those students have turned around and logged over 400,000 hours of work with other impoverished and at-risk kids. THAT is significant.

If you're going to use Alan Page as your barometer, you might as well forget about voting for any other nominees.

I'm not saying that everyone has to measure up to Alan Page. I simply used Page's founding a charity as a distinction between what I consider significant, and what I consider somewhat routine(simply donating to charities).

I think it's significant when someone donates to charities. Sure he's a millionaire, but it's not like he's donating $50.

Nice? The kid has done more in 25 years than most will accomplish in their lifetime.

Lest we forget that dumb POS celebrating on the field after hurting Bell.

But yeah the 15 yards were alright with me.
