If you’re Michigan, you cant even feel bad when you almost canned him the year before and forced him to take a massive pay cut.

Boy I disagree.

The cat hadnt done a god damn thing... let alone, the most important thing in beating your biggest rival. The entire Michigan fan base was calling for his head and went round the bend when he was extended (for less money).

Then you finally beat Ohio State while at the same time getting embarrassed by little brother?

Harbaugh has no leg to stand on here. Although I think he is a good NFL coach and will probably be successful with Minnesota, especially with Rodgers leaving.

(maybe we're saying the same thing here, but man... Michigan fans got what they wanted. They beat Ohio State and after multiple off seasons of wishing Harbaugh gone? They got that too)

And hopefully we're one step closer to Dante

In Harbaughs defense, he said he would coach there for free so....

I've heard Mike Elston wants to become a head coach at some point; Michigan has options.

I came to say the same thing Lax did. Wolverine fans shouldn't be surprised after the Administration made him take a pay cut and redid his contract laced with incentive based compensation.

That has to sting as a coach and an alum who, despite his short comings, did elevate the program above his predecessors (Rich Rod/Hoke). Not exactly a gesture of good faith (not that he deserved one, again he has plenty of faults).

The lawsuit filed by Brian Flores has caused the Minnesota Vikings to hire Patrick Graham instead of Jim Harbaugh sending him back to Michigan...

That's the news that needs to break soon.

OMG that would be so awesomely horrible and toxic and there's no program I'd rather see it happen to.

Be like when Kelly tried to ditch us for the NFL after 2012.

Just read he’s staying. Must not have liked the Vikings offer. This blows.

It's because the Vikings are naming the Rams OC Kevin O'Connell their new head coach after the Superbowl.

Sounds more like the Vikings brass spent the day with Harbaugh and decided they didn't like him.
Agree it blows but he's going to be neg recruited to death over this. And they might be elated today but the next time Michigan loses half the fan base will be ready to kick him out the door.

Not sure which announcement is more anti-climatic: Harbaugh staying at scUM or Caleb Williams committing to SCum. Both were predictable.
