Finally, I don't understand why it's anyone's business what happens in ones personal life. It's irrelevant to his performance on the field.
Unfortunately, ,I think that Golden expresses the typical attitude of professional athletes here: "I can pretty much do what I want, off-field, as long as I perform well on the field." I think they fail to see that it is their
character, or at least the appearance of it, that really sells the league, especially to the kids who are tomorrow's consumers. I don't think Tate is one of those "entitled" athletes who is completely out of touch with the real world; but I do think that there are many who take the above view, and take it to the extreme. They think that someone will cover for them, as long as they play at a high level. And we see the consequences of that, almost every week.
