Radio just said big ten response expected this afternoon.

I'm guessing they aren't going to suspend him the day before a game after the team has already taken off.

Good thing we always have Brian Kelly to blame. Always.
ha..... i think the prior coach should get no blame or no reward for the program AFTER he leaves unless he was involved in setting up the next coach (coach K preparing Scheyer). There's a clear assessment in most cases of where the program was at upon arrival and leaving. I like to leave it at that, then it's on the next coach to improve.

Example - Everyone knows where the program was at when Weis took over. Did he leave it better than he left it. Yes significantly more talented, but lacking culture, facilities, development. Kelly brought the culture, facilities, development, but we had a slight decrease in talent and QB development. Freeman took over a great program ready to take off, just needing to modernize a little and increase talent a little. We'll see where this goes. Not loving the trend right now from a coaching/development.

Why not? I don't see why the B1G would take scUM's travel plans into consideration. I would love to see a suspension announced right before kickoff! I think it might be a bigger impact if the DC and OC were suspended instead of Harbaugh, but given he's the HC it will be him before them.

as it should. This should be an indefinite suspension starting now with full penalty determined upon completion of the investigation. There's enough evidence to suspend, start it now, but there shouldn't be a cap until the investigation is done. Wreck their program.

Brian Kelly was recruiting for Notre Dame when he took the LSU job. Lol.

If you are looking for a new job do you still your other job? Yes you do.

If you are laying someone off/firing them do you send them away to rep the company? No you do not.

It doesn’t matter if we like it or not this is a business and that’s how the system works.

And this one of those deals until I see it I don’t believe it.

UNLV #42 on ESPN's top 100 Os and UNLV's Jayden Maiava is #21 QB as a Freshman on the CF Network top 133 QBs list as of this week, just ahead of AZ's star Freshman QB, Noah Fifita. And btw, under Brennan Carroll (Pete's son), AZ is now #29 top O on ESPN's list. ND needs to interview him as well. Curious to see how the AZ/CO game goes this weekend.

He had a tough time as HC at Mizzou.
It wasn’t great but he inherited a depleted program from Pinkel who unexpectedly retired. I don’t think expectations were super high which probably led to him getting 4 years. In context, he didn’t do that bad. Some even claimed he got a raw deal considering the state of the program he inherited (yes he was DC so he had a part in that despite Pinkel being on auto-pilot his last few years). I just remember hearing what a respected coach he was & that he‘d likely get another shot. He had an instant impact at Arkansas as DC so maybe UNLV will be a better place to build his HC career vs getting thrown into the SEC as his first gig.

Yea Del didn’t recruit well at all, but he obviously is a significantly better coach of wrs than what we have… both probably aren’t up for debate much
Na, that's pretty debatable. Kevin Austin and Lenzy didn't live up to their billing under Del. Neither could get open in the 2nd half of that Fiesta Bowl when OK St tightened their coverage. Neither had exceptional hands either, Austin in particular had some key drops. One hit him right in the hands when he was wide open during a key play against Cinci.

Austin goes down as one of the more frustrating/disappointing players in recent years. So much potential.
(That said, I think he could be in a sixth year for us this season and I'd sure as hell take him at this point)

You saw flashes of potential, and his last season wasn't terrible, but he was capable of more. If he could have been consistent and worked on his routes he could have been really good.

That was what made him so frustrating. We saw how good he could have been.

Both played better than any wrs this year, And we probably have 4-5 wrs rated higher

Can you talk about any player developing under Stuckey over the last 2 years?

We don't have a single receiver rated higher than Austin on this team right now lenzy was like 215 in the composite so for him you have Tobias colzie who has been hurt all year and braylon James and greathouse. We don't have a lot of talent at receiver

Chris Tyree.
Jaden Thomas (injury derailed this year for him)

Next year will be the first real year we can gauge what kind of job he is doing if he is still here. He will have a full room, some talented, and not all freshman anymore.

3rd year is the first year you can judge someone’s coaching?
