The 2015 game wasn't even that close as the final shows
And the refs somehow didn't notice 2 ND players wearing the same jersey number on the field during the missed FG, in Chris Brown and Bennett Jackson.2012 was such an incrediblly stupid game.
ND out gained Pitt by like 200 yards but was -3 in TO. 2 TOs in the end zone. Pitt could've won but missed the FG. Defense got shredded by the Pitt RB who was in the middle of legal issues
That game was a BK special.

Self portrait? To be fair, a lot of players were battling flu that week including Golson and I believe big Lou.
I do remember towards the end of the 4th when they started playing the Rudy theme in the stadium..and then the comeback started happening. We tied it up for overtime, and then all the stuff already mentioned with the missed kick and the fact we had two guys wearing the same jersey number on the field during that play.

Last time ND played SMU was right after they came off the death penalty and it wasn’t pretty. They might want some pay back. lolWin-win. Love watching geographic rivalries and love ND getting SMU.
I worked with a guy who played on that SMU team. He said he thought ND was disrespectful by running out of bounds so as not to run up the score. Also was surprised that the stadium environment was so unintimidating.Last time ND played SMU was right after they came off the death penalty and it wasn’t pretty. They might want some pay back. lol

It will definitely be a different SMU when they visit and could be a marquis game.
He can cry me a river. Of course it was unintimidating. They sucked worse than any team ever has.I worked with a guy who played on that SMU team. Yea, SMU was first year back and had nothing but 1* and 2* high schoolers for the team. NFL HOFer Forrest Gregg was the coach. He can cry me a river. Of course it was unintimidating. They sucked worse than any team ever has.
they lost 95-21 to Houston in their first game back lol, the team was a mix of freshman and walk on's. Some of the players on the team had never even played High school football. Nobody on the team was taller or heavier than Forret Gregg and he had surplus wide receivers force fed so they could convert to Offensive Linemen. Thirteen players tore their ACL's by seasons end. Truly an epic story that deserves its own ESPN 30 for 30Yea, SMU was first year back and had nothing but 1* and 2* high schoolers for the team. NFL HOFer Forrest Gregg was the coach.
I heard a former Packer player say he was a terrible coach for them too. Really just a terrible hire that would cause a major scandal today.they lost 95-21 to Houston in their first game back lol, the team was a mix of freshman and walk on's. I'd really like to see IU beat the Buckeyes. I realize they've played a pretty weak schedule to date and it's unlikely, but I felt a bit bad for their fanbase in 2020. The school rolled over for the B1G during that COVID year. IU was by all rights and rules the B1G East champ and should have been going to the championship because OSU hadn't played enough games to qualify according to the rules the B1G set at the beginning of the season. IU hadn't won the B1G since like...the 50s. Of course the rich get richer, and conference pressure forced them to roll over and accept OSU as the champ as the Buckeyes had the best chance to win the playoff that year among B1G teams. Then OSU got schooled in the playoffs by Alabama, lost way worse to the champ than we did.1 and 2 on that list play in two weeks
And we've played more ranked teams than any of the teams ahead of us.I just noticed something. We are forth in the country with difference between points per game and points allowed per game and we arent far off from first.

Navy moves this game to NFL stadiums because theirs only holds 34,000. They get a much larger ticket revenue by doing this.random question on the Navy series... does ND pay for the rental of these NFL stadiums? Considering we don't allow Navy to profit from a true home game, hopefully we're helping out in that regard.
I'm going with Joe.
