I could care less if there is politics. Some people responsibly break rules and some don't.
Huh?
I see no politics. Feds say it's illegal.
How do you responsibly break a rule?

Well I can sit on my couch and eat Doritos high. Or I can speed, with a weapon, and steal high.
I hope you can see the difference.
Let me mull that over while I change my bong water.

But before you can get to Doritoville, you get pinched scoring a couple oz's from your guy who was tailed after his driver got busted by the DEA coming in from KY and now you've caught a federal case as a co-conspirator in a criminal distribution syndicate. And then you get to go before the judge and say... But I only wanted to eat some Dorito's and what Dave Chappelle. They will gladly trade a year or two of your life for another notch on their re-election belt.
I thought, and I must have been wrong, that you were insinuating the staff was picking and choosing from offenders to dismiss and not.
My point was more ok so stoner A gets his grades stays out of trouble. Why should he get punished?
How do you know this about McIntosh? And what are some of the rule violations?
Nothing like staff picking and choosing...not sure where you got that idea.
Players know the rules and follow them or not.
Each school has different standards...which is where my problem lies.
Lol those are the breaks I guess.pretty unique situation so I'll call doubtful.
I think it was the coaches stepping on their own penis remark
Might need to change that bong water again yeesh

It's been tossed around that both CJ and Deon can both be reinstated in the fall if they comply. Honestly have Stepherson gone and Brandon T doesn't hurt this team at all, but I would like to get CJ and Deon both back if not maybe we can pursue a Grad Student?

Comment From Allen from Osceola, IN
I have seen rumors on some boards this morning that a couple of the guys dismissed yesterday COULD potentially earn their way back in the future. I find that hard to believe with dismissed being used instead of suspended. Have you heard anything on that front? Also, are they gone from team only or the school too?
1:06
Eric Hansen: Allen, it is my belief that the dismissals were carried out with the intention of being permanent. Could a player find his way back from that? I would say it's very remote but not impossible. Checking on the enrollment status for all four, but that's coming from the academic folks, not from the football office.

Eric Hansen: Someone asked me earlier if the four dismissed players are enrolled at Notre Dame. I have confirmation that all four are still enrolled.

Comment From Josh from NY
who starts at safety against Michigan? Are they going to rotate more? Thanks
1:09
Eric Hansen: I'll say Alohi Gilman and Jordan Genmark Heath. When I was asked for rising defensive players earlier, I should have included Genmark Heath and rover Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah. I do think they can and will rotate, with Derrik Allen coming in, possibly Houston Griffith in that mix, Elliott, and Coleman if he doesn't move to offense.
Comment From Tal, Valley Center, Ca.
Eric, kudos on a well-deserved award! I would appreciate your gut-feel on the following issues. Lea proves to be an inspired choice, the quarterback position becomes a consistant strength and the program's momentum is not lost with the Irish at least matching the 10-win total of 2017-18.

Eric Hansen: Tai, thank you. .. Lea? I'll say yes to that question, particularly in 2018. I'm less confident when he has to rebuild, but we'll see. QBs? It has to be. Not exactly a prediction that it will be. Momentum? I think even with the ridiculous road demands in November, 2018 will be a better team than 2017.

Comment From Tom, Kennesaw, GA
Eric, with the diminished numbers at RB does that put more of a premium on Wimbush's ability as a runner? Does it maybe give him a leg up on being the starting QB???
1:50
Eric Hansen: I don't think so, Tom. I think ND will find options to give them depth. They really like options 1 and 2, Dexter Williams and Tony Jones Jr., and it's a big help that Jahmir Smith is an early enrollee.

Eric Hansen: 10-2, and it is way too early.

Is the BC coach Frye in the mix for OL coach?
1:57
Eric Hansen: They have looked at him, and he is well regarded.

Two quick questions: 1) What does Alize need to work on to fulfill his potential? 2) What do you think the percentage is that Long gets the OC job at Alabama?
2:01
Eric Hansen: He needs to stop worrying about who he is supposed to become and just work like his a fifth-string walk-on. Long? 20 percent or less.
