I always thought that the only way Temple football could compete nationally was to, well, cheat. There is only one major football program in America that doesn’t have to cheat: Alabama. Five-star recruits recruit Alabama, rather than the other way around. The Crimson Tide coach, Nick Saban, a man about as congenial as a nor’easter, simply picks and chooses the best of the best. And the Tide roll. You think those SEC schools who have to lure the great recruits away from ’Bama, to compete with ’Bama, aren’t getting a little help from their boosters in the form of $100 handshakes and a dorm room full of strippers?

HAHAHAHA. I guess it really shows you how far this city is from college football relevance when even one of our most respected sports writers, Mike Missanelli, makes outlandish statements like that.

Alan Lawrence is a father of six from Utah and he decided to put a new twist on the Elf on the Shelf Christmas tradition. Alan dressed up his 4 month old son Rockwell and decided to turn him into the elf this year. The photos came out so good that Lawrence was even interviewed by The Today Show.

No kidding, those thoughts were running through my head while I was scrolling. I kept saying to myself, that's going to end in a trip to the emergency room!

Each day in December until Christmas, WFLA reports, dad Alan Lawrence is posing Rockwell around the house as an elf and taking a photo of him with help from his family and the magic of Photoshop (to edit the person holding up Rockwell out of the photos so it looks like the baby is hanging precariously on a ledge).
