The worst part about it for me is that I find neither the schools nor the football of the SEC to be remotely compelling. It's so badly oversold, overrated, and academically irrelevant (this matters to me for some reason) that I just don't care who wins in an Auburn-Ole Miss matchup. If neither school has a large or powerful alumni base around the country, what's the point? Let local redneck affairs stay that way, ESPN.
