I will answer this Q. I do enjoy how people love to ask Qs but seldom, if ever, answer serious Qs posed to them. We've been down this road before. Regardless-

I should say names, mostly "in the whatever" category-I'd have to look at specific posts as I'm going on memory. Pretty sure you and the crew (SnD, Colorado-the group I would likely disagree with on many points and who I would call the Left) have called me some shit that was unprovoked. And that's the thing here, taking your anger out at another when it's not warranted just because the temp is already high, not digging it. And if one wants to insult me to my face, fine. But over a computer-I'd consider that behavior indicative of one's character.

Not saying I haven't said something because I know it gets spicy over here and I've definitely been guilty of it on the past. So if I have I'm sorry. When I've done it previously I've reached out to people privately and damn near every one over here can vouch for that. Curious why you would call me the left tho? I've made my stances pretty clear and besides being vehemently anti trump I'm not sure I've ever given the impression I would be considered part of the left.

I would just like to see both sides here drop the recent personal attacks. Most here have been guilty of it on one occasion or more over the years, some more than others and to various degrees. If the Politics board wasn't a Wild West and the mods were hands on here (I don't blame them for staying away) the personal attacks would garner a ban because they're against the rules of IE. Quite frankly they're childish and they accomplish less than nothing in an argument...and we all accomplish plenty of nothing as it is in our normal political barb throwing.

My old debate teacher suggested staying away from 4 topics because people get too passionate about them and they can be difficult to moderate: religion, politics, and I don't remember the other two for certain as it's been 28 years but it was probably abortion and maybe the death penalty. Obviously the second item is why we're here and we've seen how it drives discussion, usually negatively. It's easy to get wrapped up in.
