It's been a while but I had a buddy who was a plane mechanic at Nellis AFB. He would tell us how crazy expensive some of the basic stuff he would order is. That was about 10 years ago so I don't remember any details.

My uncle is a big rig mechanic. His "tool box' alone was like 10,000. It's ridiculous.

I have no idea, but I would have to imagine that we aren't actually paying $75 for hammers, and a lot of that is a clandestine way to cover how much money we spend on classified programs through the same contractor.

Government Fiscal Year Christmas. If you don't spend it, your budget gets cut next year. Absolutely terrible practice that leads to so much waste.

To be fair - the tan suit should be an impeachable offense.

There haven't been any real peace talks since the early stages of the war and we're going on 3 years. Biden never really tried to open a dialogue with Putin. There's a better chance it gets done now than it ever did under the old regime.
