It's heating up here in the second half, when the old asses are going to get outrun by the pace and physicality of the Premier League. Serie A fell behind the Bundesliga this year to fourth for CL spots...

They have none, I'm almost certain this is their first CL qualification. Wiki gives their Euro history Tottenham Hotspur F.C. - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. It's not much, they've only really come on under 'Arry

I root for British teams any time they play foreign competition, but AC Milan are my favourite club. Unfortunately, they're but a shell of their former selves. I miss the days of Dessailly, Baresi, Panucci, and Maldini manning the back four.

Good question, care to tell which club you support?

The match was ****. We started with three DMs in a side set up not to lose. When Soto gave away the penalty it threw a wrench in the entire plan. Finally showed some life when A.C. came on, and he was a beast in the air. I can't wait to see him with the first team. Crap performance from most of the team though, and without Soto's penalty it easily would have played to nil-nil.

fellas, wish my boys varsity high school team luck (kecoughtan). we play the no. 1 team in the nation according to espn rish fab 50 (franklin cox high school), today at our school.

they've won back to back state championships (25-0 last season) and have returned practically their entire team minus two players to graduation. 5 or 6 div 1 college prospects start for them. i have no div 1 college prospects.

i'm hoping to keep it close.

Wow.

that red card was a joke and yes i believe it changed the complexity of the entire game. yes barca outplayed arsenal in every aspect of the game, but arsenal with 11 men have a better chance of defending and keeping the game closer than with 10 men.

playing against 10 men, barca is damn near impossible to restrain. unstoppable would be the better word to use.

and another note, barca is way too good to resort to the diving tactics they use. i can't stand danny alves nor sergio busquet. what a joke those two are?!!? they should be ashamed of themselves. barca doesn't need the sideshows to win. they win with beautiful football.

I'll watch it if there's nothing better on, but we desperately need to grow the sport in the U.S. so we can have a proper league with some quality. It's just so terrible to watch sometimes.

In other news, Bayern took back two goals after going down to an Inter goal from Eto'o in the 4th minute.

Those dirty, filthy Mancs scored one against Marseille, but an away goal and a tie will see them through.

I used to think that way about the MLS... not so much after last season... pretty good quality from some teams... these two were always good watches
