I wasn't interested in the result as much as I was in the substance of USA v Senegal.
That was good yesterday. Would have been good even if they hadn't gotten the win. Fingers crossed in the next couple of weeks.

I don't know soccer, but it looked like we had moments of being dominant and a few moments of being sloppy. That's a Senegal team that hasn't lost in a long team.

I believe Senegal had just touched on American soil within a couple of days of the match yesterday.
The kickoff time, the heat. It was going to be all over the place.
They stayed fit and Pulisic got a goal. Don't want to take a lot away from it, but the individual performances were good and the result helps a lot.
