This sums up so much

Used to be the way I watched him, too. Now I just don't watch him.

He's doing the Euros AND Copa. Can't escape it.
I typically start watching 25-30 minutes after it starts and then fast forward through halftime. Don’t stick around to watch the postgame. Enables me to get more done around the house.

Disappointing.
He was destined for a bigger club, he has star potential.

One of two things was going through his mind:

1. If I get an assist, I have the Euro record for assists.
2. Fernandes lent me his boots for the second half, it's my way of thanking him.

My guess is the former.

Why are Croatia fans continuing to throw plastic bottles on the field?

I assume these are adults predominantly in attendance.

Calafiori is a baller.

That was the first time since 1998 Italy put out a starting 11 that did not include a player from Juventus.

The leading scorer of the Euros is "Own Goal".

If we indict anyone on being dull, you're going to have to start calling a lot of witnesses.

Jeez, what a boring couple of 3:00 games with 5 minutes left. Two nil nil draws, would make that three for the tourney so far.

Watching the Canada v Peru match.

LW Shaffelburg's center passing has been on point (in the 20 min I've watched he's dropped ~5 dimes that CAN players have just pooched) and the dude has excellent pace. I recall thinking he had great pace during the GC match v US last year as well. Surprised he's in MLS.

Painful loss to Panama tonight Red card in 18th minute and we're on our back foot all night. Finally a red to Panama in the 88th minute and only four minutes of stoppage time which was ridiculous considering how many stoppages there were, including a VAR review of a PK call vs us that took more than 4 minute alone.

Weah punched a guy in the head away from the play which got us the red card.

Nat Turner got hurt and the decisive goal went threw the hands of Horvath the back up goalie. Was a rocket of a shot but I wish Turner had been in.

Ref was a total idiot.

By all accounts we had guys like Thierry Henry and Jesse Marsch interview for a job and somehow you settle on Gregg freakin berhalter.

My guess is Monday we’ll see a similar game to the Brazil one. Probably a tie in the 1-1 variety.

That match was a mess and I think it will ultimately cost Berhalter his job. In my opinion he should’ve been gone after the World Cup showing. Panama knew how to get under the American’s skin. The match could not have gone better for Panama. I thought the ref did a poor job. So many replays - minimal stoppage time added was very questionable as well. Weah should be embarrassed by his red card - you can’t play a man down for 75+ minutes and expect things to go well.

The response to the red card was to bring on another CB and pray Panama doesn't score. What we needed was a better central midfield presence to settle the ball and create possession.

The short sided view would fault Weah. But more longitudinally, this is on Berhalter.

I find cheering for USA soccer to be very similar to ND under Charlie weis. Talented players, underachieving on the field, and poor coaching

England just a more hyped, more talented version of the US team. The whole always seems to be less than the sum of their parts.
