Juventus had scouts at Anfield Sunday to watch Mo Salah.
I assume they had a bag of magic pixie dust with them, too, because that just isn't going to happen.
Why? Juve has spent $1B on transfer fees this decade and has shown they will spend crazy amounts in getting CR7. If Pool got an offer of $150MM+ euros they'd be crazy not to take it.
Why would he go there?
Easier league I guess. Possibly money? Weather? City?
I doubt he'd go. If he leaves it's for Madrid. Honestly he's in the right place to finish his peak years. He's guaranteed to play, has a center forward that is fine being more of a playmaker, has a guy on the other wing who commands a ton of attention as well.
Pool v. City will be straight fire. If Pool win, things start looking really difficult for City.
Celtic just took all three points in their away trip to Lazio right at the very end...
Two of their supporters were stabbed earlier this morning.
Fucking Lazio, fucking Italy. Gross.
The open minded fans in Italy? I'm sure a brown Muslim from Egypt would fit right in with Balotelli and Kouliably for those wretched ultras who hurl racist slurs at Serie A matches. Salah can vacation there. I wouldn't even advise that let alone play there.
It's nonsense. They're not selling him. They're going to do a second addition to Anfield and have the Nike deal coming. They're Champions of Europe and at the top of the English table at present. Serie A isn't what it was fifteen years ago.
Liverpool need to take all three points this weekend at Anfield. They can't afford a draw at home. Looks like City has some injury issues. Liverpool have been conceding first and winning 2-1 a lot. I don't know if you can sustain that kind of performance week after week. Plus VAR has been pretty bad for them.
It's way too early to talk about the title being difficult for anyone. The slate of winter matches is brutal. December and January make or break you. Look at Liverpool's slate of fixtures those two months. It's going to be brutal.
Yes the money in England is absurd now but Juve is still Juve,... it’s not like he’d be going to some pub team.
They haven't won Europe in 35 years and when they aren't fixing matches they roll over their domestic competition with ease. Salah is in his prime at 27. Maybe in 5-6 years he can go to Italy and pad his medals, but this isn't happening now.
He was brilliant yesterday, too, BTW. His best individual outing in a while. Team performance in general was excellent against a still very quality and deep City side.
Nothing is won yet, but Liverpool are on a generational type of run right now their supporters should enjoy. You never know how long this will last, but they have been dominant now since losing to City last year at the Etihad.
Zlatan's 'thing' always rubbed me a bit wrong... now that he officially left the LAG I'm just over it. His official statement today was,"I came, I saw, I conquered..."
No, you freaking didn't dude, you had some highlight goals and great games against LAFC and that's about it. You won exactly fuckle and accomplished exactly fuckle. If you were this soccer God you swear to be you'd have won something here in the 'lil ole MLS'....
Last two paragraphs there is no issue but they've made the Champions League final twice in the last six years, that's like someone shitting on Liverpool because they haven't won the league title in almost thirty years.... Juve is still a giant.
So in other news, Financial Fair Play dead.
It is a really odd thing to be worried about if Manchester City broke FFP rules or not. I am honestly curious why Liverpool fans even care?
Do people really think it is cheating? Manchester City are owned by one of the richest "entities" in the world. Are they good people, most likely no, and do they participate in questionable ethical behavior on human rights within their own country, probably yes.
However, they bought a proud historic club that had been around for over 100 years before they ever came into the picture and made them intro a world class operation and have spent 100's of millions of dollars (pounds) on improving the facilitates and infrastructure of the surrounding area of where the club is located. I have first hand experience of this when I went over and saw a City game in person last year.
I do not have any proof of this I will admit, but I have to imagine all the construction of the "Etihad Campus" brought countless construction work jobs to the Manchester Community as well as career jobs for those who work at the campus.
City's owners have been a Net positive to the PL as a whole, just as I would admit John Henry has been for Liverpool and Roman has been for Chelsea. They all truly care about the club and how it is run and don't just look at it as a toy that is just an endless money pit for themselves. Something I would accuse the Glazer family doing with Manchester United, and most United fans I have spoken with have agreed.
The owners that Financial Fair Play was created for are the guys like Vincent Tan, and Tony Fernandes who treat their clubs like a toy with no forward thinking of how a football club should be run or how many lives a club truly affects...and once they get bored will just raid and take everything for themselves and leave the fans with nothing.
Rant over, enjoy your inevitable PL Title this year because Manchester City cannot stay healthy and Liverpool just refuse to lose! It has been a great rivalry and I look forward to the next match.
Don't forget PSG.
There's a lot to unpack here, but the idea that you've conceded the title to Liverpool in November because City "cannot stay healthy" gives me all that I need to not launch a lengthy response.
Fuck all you front runners,....
Just felt compelled. Fuck y’all once more, have a nice weekend tho,....
I started following Manchester City in 2008-2009 when Robinho, Stephen Ireland, and Martin Petrov were their best attacking players and there was no guarantee of the trophies and talent to come.
Enjoy your weekend as well.

Poch out in Tottenham. Yikes, what the hell are they thinking?
