I'm only seeing short, cut, highlights... wtf happened on that last goal?? ND is right it looked like a bad youth soccer play from the lil clip I saw. How'd he get so open on a FK?? Anyone have a highlight of the full play??

Okay, just saw it... wow, I wonder it that was something they've had up their sleeve for a while and it just now worked out or if it was totally on the spot

I don't think it was a set play at all. It was just one of the best "heads up plays" I've seen in a long time. The Barca players were mentally destroyed by that point in the game. They let their guard down and turned their backs and walked back to the box assuming Liverpool was going to organize and get set for the corner. Ter Stegen maybe should have seen it sooner. But he was barking orders at his players to mark them up in the box. Crazy way to take the lead.

Amazing stuff. Roma (vs Barca), Barca (vs PSG), and now Liverpool .. Congrats to the side for not giving up and not making excuses with top players on the bench injured.

Now here's to hope that Spurs can flip the tie.

Agree, hats off to Liverpool. Hope Spurs make it to the final.

I thought Man U's PSG comeback was impossible. This was incredible, especially goal #4 hahaha. How does that happen?

Fatigue leads to laziness. And to be fair...it looked like only two guys(Alexander-Arnold and Origi) even knew what was going on.

I believe that Pique knew just before the "surprise", but was on the back side of the keeper and couldn't react. He is the sort of all-business defender who would not turn off. Fortunately for "my" favorite team, he wasn't the guy who had that particular area.

The ball boy was in on it too. 14 years of age. Brilliant.

So happy to see Suarez banished out of this tournament. What a dirty maggot. Almost feel sorry for Messi, but he's a whiner. At least he was in the two legs of this match.

Coutinho...you know, I don't feel bad for him. I think they're going to dump him this summer to the first taker they can find. If it's Manchester United, that's perfect.

Hoping they can see it through on June 1st. Firmino will be back, they should be healthy and ready to go. Beat Wolves and whatever happens in Brighton, so be it.

Just awesome. Feel badly for people that don't give The Beautiful Game a chance. They're the ones missing out, not us.

I generally feel a little bit bad for Messi. He seems like a fairly likable guy. A little sulky though. The way Argentina seems to treat him though puts me firmly in his camp.

Coutinho really did make a mistake in leaving I think. He was the star man at Liverpool. Klopp knew how to use him best. He will go to United I bet. I dont know where else he'd fit in and could afford him...maybe Arsenal?

I don't have much sympathy for Messi on the club side of things. Internationally, maybe. The pressure on him is pretty unfair.

Coutinho wanted out under Klopp. He has no excuses. He thought they were shit and he was miserable. I can understand Suarez leaving under Rodgers when they fell short of the title. Coutinho's circumstances were way different. I don't care what purgatory he rots in, be it Manchester or London or tinpot La Liga. He's no legend and neither is Suarez.

Agree on everything you said. And I used to not give the game a chance until my daughter started playing. She's 16 and been playing since she was 3. She's a goalkeeper. Only 5'3 but a fearless beast.

What's the better story, Liverpool's comeback or Ajax's run to the final?

Liverpool putting up 4-0 against Barcelona tops a Top 4 Prem team pulling it out over Ajax I think. Looks like today was a wild game though lmaooo

So if the two London PL clubs meet in the Europa League Final, that's two all English finals.

Get ready for UEFA to change the formats now.

It would have been AJAX with that budget in this climate where only a handful of teams can compete financially by miles... LP could have come back from 10 down....

Ha, gotcha, I was sitting here like, "Y'all some English centric-peps here... Y'all know Baca pulled the same thing just a year ago to an even lesser side,... right?" but it's all good, Spurs made the whole thing moot anyway, wish they hadn't, one of the historic giants getting buried by these new finances rising up and winning it anyway would have been glorious.

Going to the US Open Cup match a week from tonight... pretty stoked. I've been to Southwest Uni Park for baseball and it's an amazing stadium for a minor league park. Looking forward to seeing it host soccer.

Forward Madison FC (check out these Miami Vice lookin' guys over here...) take on the Locomotive, who are coming along pretty quickly in their first season, should be fun. Feelin cute, might become a Locomotive fan later, idk.

Well, Pool gonna finish with the 1 loss, a ton of points, 2 of the 3 joint top scorers. And still finish second. Woof.

No one remembers who comes in second. Unless it's Liverpool, then the rest of England sings songs about it for half a decade.
