Reminds me of the USMNT under Bradley. Especially in the 2010 World Cup. Awful first halves vs England, Slovenia, and Ghana, with a decent but not great 1st half against Algeria. Great 2nd halves in most cases.

In the second half they did. So many scoring opportunities. First half was awful. OT was awful. Second half the US dominated.

Just discussed this on another board... They've petitioned for it every year like four years running or something... Strong resistance from the current powers that be... Tony Kroos is a killer Bayern Munich MF. He said that playing for Bayern in the Bundesliga is like a training ground for preparing against the Champions League teams (meaning the real talent lies in the CL). A large portion of the USMNT plays in the Bundesliga so our guys are like training dummies too him. () We will have to face him and much of Bayerns team on the German National Team ergo the USMNT is fucked. (mostly kidding).
I just thought that statement was outrageous but then I remembered its Germany.

True, but most of our recent USMNT team roster people play or played on the sucky teams of the Bundesliga. The rest are on non CL teams or Eurpoa teams.
