I did. Everton is a very tough squad. Really would love to be 7 points clear, but I'll take 5. Giroud was SO close to hitting the game winning shot, just off the woodwork. Shouldn't have allowed the equalizer, but it happens.

The final shot of the game by Giroud was really close. Would have really have been a beauty if it had gone in. I agree with you, Arsenal shouldn't have allowed the equalizer. Arsenal really needs an extra striker and a proper winger as well. We've relied too much on Ramsey and Giroud for the first half. We'll see though. Le Prof being Le Prof might end up not signing anyone in January.

Anyone else been following the Champions League? The stage is now set for the tournament stage:

4 German, 4 English, 3 Spanish, just 1 French and 1 Italian, 1 Greek, 1 Turkish and 1 Russian teams. I'm very surprised that only one club from both France and Italy will be going to the next stage. Ligue 1 was at a level slightly below that of the other major countries but I'm surprised as how far Serie A has fallen. Clearly the balance has shifted to the Bundesliga and the Premier League. Anyways, looking forward to the knockout stage draws.

France's Ligue 1 was pretty awful last year. It is a little better this year, but not by much, so I am not surprised that PSG is the only one to qualify. Roberto Mancini is a failure in the Champions League. Juventus has far superior to talent to Galatassary and you blow it in a game where all you have to do is tie to advance.

My MCFC boys came up big yesterday. Can't believe they beat Bayern at Bayern

ND-Maryland NCAA soccer final tomorrow at 3pm outside of Philly. The two teams played to a 1-1 draw October 8th at ND.

He's pretty sane compared to some other London clubs that shall not named, but yeah... also, it would be pretty big stuff if the guy following the legend were fired after one year in the states... but over there, it will be suprising if Moyes finishes where he is at and doesn't get canned...

Yep. Moyes has got to be gone this year. I can't see ManU keeping him. They have been terrible with the same players.
