I would say Arsenal are out. I might be biased, but Rafa is a good manager, and I think he'll get Napoli through as Arsenal's expense.
ManU, damn that group looks good on paper, but that's why we play the matches!
City should get out, which would be huge for them. Some CL knockout stage action would be good for their fans.

Liverpool need a CB, DM, and an attacker. Sadly I think we'll be doing business in January since we had such success with Sturridge and Coutinho. Very, very, very long shot at fourth unless Aspas turns out to be another Michu and the squad really gels in BR's second season. I'm not holding any hope really. Hopefully they make some signings in January, they'll sell Suarez next summer, put the final pieces on it and have the expectation of top four in 14-15.

Not sure why you guys are laughing off Manchester United's group. By no means a cake walk. All three teams are talented. I rather City have the group they have than United's. Which is crazy when you think that Manchester U was in Pot 1 and City was in Pot 3. Either way City has spent and insane amount of money, and really have no excuse to not qualify for knockout stages. Well see what happens, either way just go to enjoy it while it lasts. With all the money coming into the PL no guarantee that champions league appearances continues. Come On You Blues!

Maybe, but I don't think Milan's current quality fits the name and AJAX is selling players....
and Celtic has already proven they can hang with Barca for a point or three...
so we shall see.

Chelsea's and PSG are so more incredibly easier than ManU. Man U plays two teams that finished top four in arguably the most difficult leagues last year, as well as Shakhtar who is very established European heavyweight. This is easily the most difficult group ive ever seen ManU have and ive been following the champions league for the past 5 years closely.
I mean last year their group was Galatasaray, CFR Cluj????, and Braga. That is what i'd call an easy group.

to be fair, I agree with your assessment. AC Milan might not qualify for the CL this coming season with their current squad.

Acamp im really sturglling to understand how you think Manchester United has an easier group than Chelsea. I follow close to a hundred international and regional soccer reporters on twitter. All of them laughed at Chlesea's group and said if they dont have a G/D of plus 15, at the end than they should be embarrassed. They all also took note that Manchester United got dealt a strong group. Also, members on RedCafe.net (Manchester Uniteds Irish Envy) commented that United got dealt a tricky group. But yeah lol

Well in fairness last night I wrote down the two worst teams in either pot for the giggles of it... Manu U got two of them and Chelsea got two of them...
and of course their fans complain, they take the same route as their team, get hooked up at every damn turn and whine about it...
bottom line... Man U sucks and so does their pot.

Chelsea's group is significantly easier, but that doesn't mean that ManU still should have no trouble getting out. Real Sociedad will be no trouble for them. BL and SD will be tricky for them, but there is absolutely no reason they shouldn't advance.

I think it is being finalized at the moment. Seems like he has undergone medicals so the signing should be official pretty soon. I've been reading about a potential Pastore, Ba and Abel Hernandez signings but nothing concrete at the moment. Ozil along with a couple more signings would make Arsenal definite title contenders. Furthermore, this is becoming a wonderful week for Gooner fans everywhere, especially after beating Spurs.
