I couldn't imagine only having 1 round played this year! I live in the middle of Cali and am already 15 rounds in for the year. I play most friday mornings and on some wednesday afternoons. Please don't mistake frequency with quality, i'm a 11 but on a pretty easy track. My buddies and I go on a weekend trip yearly to the Monterrey area and that 11 doesn't travel very well!!! Go low and GO IRISH!!!

Nice choice of days and times to play. You probably have the course to yourself when you're out there. Keep your head down and Go Irish!

If it was me, I'm not sure those those pants would have stayed white. Then again, if I was in contention going into the final round at The Masters I wouldn't have worn white pants to begin with.

oh hell no....u should see the way i hit...that would have been par for course...in the woods...hit it again and slice the f#ck out it ...yep that how i do it....easily done if the club head is open...now getting it to do it on command w/ accuracy..now that is not so easy

I'm sure that I've hit shots with that trajectory (if I managed to avoid a tree or two), but never on purpose. I've landed balls in streets, on RR tracks, in backyard pools and bounced a few off of roofs. Never on the green. Well, maybe on the wrong green ...

This is true. But I do think, generally and on command, it is easier to hook a ball farther than it is to slice --> and even more so with a 52 degree gap wedge in your hand.

Yeah it's pretty F'd up coverage. Tiger tees off at 10:45 EST and live coverage doesn't start till 3? WTF? I've got it on the Golf channel, but it seems like they're just doing highlights and interviews till ESPN starts coverage?

Yeah. Just analysis and scores. I think espn might show highlights as they happen but that gets really annoying with repeat highlights of other sports on sportscenter.

And the coverage on Masters website has like 6 different things going on. It's really not bad. I think the "featured groups" that they will cover at noon will include Tiger's group.

Billy Payne was doing a presser yesterday and said he believed "less is more" in terms of coverage on live TV. I mean it's absurd logic, but at least when it is on there is 55 minutes of golf for every hour.

Has nothing to do with ESPN. Augusta National runs everything in regards to the Masters and they believe "less is more" when showing it live. ESPN has only been able to show any of the first 2 rounds for a couple years.

With technology the way it is today, you should be able to watch any golfer live from your computer or mobile device. TV is another animal though.

I think it'd be cool to click the golfer and have a video screen come up that not only shows every shot, but also has a mic to listen in on the convo. They should also have a small area on the screen that shows club selection and yardage for each shot...maybe even wind mph and direction too. That kind of stuff is fun to know. When you get tired of watching that golfer, simply click on another name.
