Wet. Lots of rain the past week or so plus its been raining a bit today. Throw in some medium speed winds

I don't mind the rain. I prefer the greens to be soft. I hate golfing in the heat when the greens are dry and fast.

Shot a 40. And it was a bad 40. Hit the ball great off the tee and my iron play was phenomenal. However I had three 3 putts. And its not like my first putt on these holes were long. The longest was maybe 25 feet. Throw in I hit one tee shot out of bounds(still ended up only with a bogey) and I get a 40. I was so close to playing one of my best rounds ever, yet so far.

I am just being overly critical of myself haha. I am really happy with a 40, it was just one of those days where I know I could have done better.

But yes I agree with that statement, one of my favorite sayings
