Consoles used to be like that, but now their online connectivity is basically good for playing by yourself while getting cursed at by 12 year olds. That's totally more social than the occasional LAN party. /s.

Battlefront 2 was announced a long time ago so that wasn't a surprise. But yeah, a whole lot of nothing. Visceral is working on something and Respawn is working on something else.

2018: Action-adventure game from Visceral

Eff me in the sadness bones. The Respawn game sounds like KOTOR, but 2019 at the earliest and more likely 2020 when you figure they'll probably do Battlefront 3 in 2019. It also won't be KOTOR per se because it takes place at a different time than their existing titles.
