All signs are pointing to another ACL tear, this time in his right knee (his previous ACL tear was to his left knee). MRI scheduled tomorrow, but it's probably just going to confirm the bad news.

As a Bulls fan, I'm devastated. Not really for the Bulls (though our season is now over), but more so for him. He'll likely never be the same player he was prior to his first ACL tear. I hate it for him, because a fierce competitor and just all around good guy.

As a Pistons fan I'm suppose to be happy. I can't. I feel horrible for the guy. I like D Rose. Will he have much of a career left? I know he's young, but 2 ACL surgeries on different knees. His speed and ability to penetrate are a huge part of his game.

This is not too uncommon in players coming back from ACL injuries. They overcompensate by putting more stress in their good knee, act too gingerly on the repaired one, and BLAM......Such a shame. He wouldn't recover from this one if it's true.

DRose can't buy a break. I am not confident that he has the psyche to come back from another acl injury. I'm not sure where the Bulls should go. I guess i'll just wait to hear exactly what is going on before speculating.
