Has Deontay manned up and spoke about his drama that he created on NSD? or is he still hiding? is he speaking with hollywood producers about a reality show?

dude was all over social media prior to NSD, now after he makes the greatest decision of his life, something he should be celebrating, I havent heard about any of his comments post-NSD.

Houston fan here, just wanted to come over and try to respond to some of the besmirching of my alma mater. First of all, to the guy who lives in Houston, have you ever been on Campus? You keep talking about murders and ghetto. The area around the campus isn't as bad as it used to be and new buildings are going up all the time. Maybe DG wanted to live in a big city. Maybe he wanted to be in a city with 3 professional sports teams...well really 2 1/2 with the current Astros. Maybe he wanted to play in an offense where he will put up big numbers for a coach who cares about his players. Also, I'm just curious, you do know that everyone pronounces the name of your university incorrectly, right? It's from the French word meaning "Our lady." Isn't it also weird that a University with a French name is called the "Fighting Irish?" Just thinking and typing. Carry on and make sure you guys stay classy...

PS. I must admit that the movie with the hobbit who works real hard to make that tackle is one of my all time favorite sports movies. So, kudos to you guys for that too.

We look like Cleveland after LeBron left, but instead of us ripping a 25 year old man who spurned his hometown we're verbally abusing an 18 year old kid who made a bad decision. Right now we look like the elitist group ND fans are so often made out to be.

This is my biggest problem with your attitudes. I understand you are upset, as I would be if it was the opposite. But, your elitism blinds you to the fact that it isn't a bad decision if this is what he wanted. I'm not going to argue that Houston's academics are better than ND's, because that would be silly. But, the continual ignorant bashing by members of a storied alumni base is just ridiculous. Of course, this is moot if one of you is a member of his family and knows everything about him. Also, the area around USC is also plenty sketchy. There are many reasons why the city of Houston is a great place to live as I'm sure there are for South Bend. It's his decision, now we live with it.

Yes been there also. Got off football bus, went into Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame, checked it out including the kick@$$ The Who exhibit that was there at the time, got on bus, went to Paul Brown Stadium, did a full stadium tour including in locker room and on field, got on bus, got the f*ck out of that city.
