Except I'm not wrong. Just like with the discussion about retailers closing due to theft, where you intentionally referred to overall crime being down while ignoring the specific crimes being discussed, you're doing the same here. You're our useful idiot who always defends the wrong side of every issue.
You are wrong. I find data and facts to support my claims. Name one time you’ve ever shown any sort of non-partisan proof of any of your claims? You haven’t, and when you tried to find a single chart, you couldn’t even do that! LOL

There is a clear reason that none of the well adjusted Republican’s on this site respect you. You can’t help but embarrass yourself and have shown time and time again to just be a fraud.

You could just make a claim “x is wrong because of Y (insert proof)” but you can’t, you’ve never had to source any sort of opinion and you want everyone to believe you’re some of intellectual lmao.

Disappointing trend. I don't think a hatred for Trump should correlate to pride in being an American, but there seems to be a connection there. Republicans seem extremely consistent regardless.

It’s not the hatred for Trump that fuels the declining blue line. He is not the cause of the abject chaos and demolition of democratic norms. His voters are. This is what they wanted.

Its more the whistling past the graveyard by so many of our fellow citizens’ who defend the moral and institutional decay. It is my opinion that the inevitable moment when white people become the minority in this country (2040-ish?) is seen - by a disturbingly larger number that I’d ever have guessed - as an existential threat to their fever dream of a becoming a white Christian nation. This white replacement fear drives a lot of Trump’s base. Enough, i’m sad to say, that there seems an uncomfortable acceptance by so many of our citizens of jingoism, Christo-fascist white nationalism, Constitutional apathy, brutality by agents of the government … And none of this looks anything like the country that existed before that chart began. The America they stood for their whole lives. It is disheartening that our neighbors, family members, coworkers and friends are not really put off enough by any of the chaos and criminality to stop supporting, let alone celebrating, these insults to the country. It’s disgusting, if I’m being frank. But Trump has been an obvious con man my whole life. It’s the people who support and celebrate his chaos that push those lines down. The fact that the red line is so consistent, as you say, may be the most disturbing one on the chart.

That blue and dotted lines sink because people look at this country and they despise what it is becoming, and fear what it could happen when all of the guard rails have given way. Always in the back of their minds they are thinking how easy it would have been for them to end it during any voting cycle. But they chose chaos, and contempt, most of them 2 or 3 times.

People of conscience wonder what kind of world their grandchildren will inherit because of the cowardice and contempt of republicans.

Should we just go ahead and sell all our earthy possessions now, or create a burn pile and just destroy them?

“Becoming a white Christian nation”

I have posted a million times over… in the 90s Christianity was at 90%, white demo was at 80%.

We were once essentially a white Christian nation not that long ago. White Conservative Christian’s have not changed. The border has since been flooded and now we have a radical blue wave that has convinced people like you that white Christians are the problem.

You have got this backward. That blue dotted line isn’t sinking because they despise what it’s becoming… they despise what it has always been. You probably see two Arab politicians at the SOTU address screaming at the American president as progress. This is backward thinking bruh. You act like White Christians just landed on Plymouth Rock yesterday to find Ilhan Omar and Mamdani and we white Christian’s have over stayed our welcome and have been bad guests.

Tell me when we were a white Christian nation. Give me a year instead of a vague notion. 1950? 1960? 70, 80, 90? I think it ties back perfectly to a question I had in 2015 … when is this hallowed time that we are aspiring to rekindle when we say “make America great again?”

The failures of Christianity to hold the interest and moral enthusiasm of the country is a failing of the shepherds, not the flock. The decades listed above saw the rise of institutional rape and cover-up of children in the care of priests, the rise of the mega church and its fleecing of its parishioners, and the abandonment of the core tenets of the Christian faith — welcome the stranger, love thy neighbor … in favor of “screw the immigrant and my neighbors for welcoming them as Jesus said we should do. It’s kinda like the “”Christian” part of Christian nationalism is not really all that important. Where you see “Arabs screaming at the president,” I see duly elected representatives of American citizens pushing back on blatant lies from the least popular, most regressive and most corrupt president in history . Go figure. 🤷🏻

The steady red line on the graph represents people who - despite blatant unconstitutional behavior, kids being slaughtered in their classrooms, citizens brutalized in the streets by government agents, the shielding of pedophiles from consequences, the building of concentration camps, loss of healthcare of the most vulnerable, spiraling moral authority around the world and unprovoked aggression against sovereign nations, are just as proud to be American as they ever were. Grotesque! That’s like being proud that you shit your pants.

I think I’ve answered that already. But I also think we need to define what you think a “Christian nation” is. If 90% of Americans identifying as Christian doesn’t define it as such what does for you?
The failures of Christianity to hold the interest and moral enthusiasm of the country is a failing of the shepherds, not the flock.
I agree but not entirely.

Christians don’t profess to be perfect. Where there is man there will always be evil. You can find Christian imperfections throughout the history of Christianity we are evil beings.
— welcome the stranger, love thy neighbor … in favor of “screw the immigrant and my neighbors for welcoming them as Jesus said we should do. It’s kinda like the “”Christian” part of Christian nationalism is not really all that important.
I’ll refer you to the graph. I’m proud to be an American because of its people, values and beliefs. Being proud of your country and being proud of your government are two different things. I haven’t been proud of our government maybe ever and I work in the federal government.
Where you see “Arabs screaming at the president,” I see duly elected representatives of American citizens pushing back on blatant lies from the least popular, most regressive and most corrupt president in history . Go figure. 🤷🏻
So progress for you. Maybe that makes you a proud American is watching Arab Americans scream at the President. Different strokes/folks thing…

Again… what will make you a proud American? Why be so angry and bitter because the government? Take a step back and enjoy America for its values and people. Your sucked too far into the CNN purple haired vortex of angry/hate. You’re giving reasons to hate then to love. You can’t be the party of love and also be the party of I hate my country.

I don’t think you did. Which decade? Sixty percent of the human body is water. Does that make you a jug? Are you forgetting or just ignoring the inconvenient truth that our sacred documents lay the foundations of the country explicitly separate church and state? Super weird take on a country that was founded on freedom of religion without exclusion.

I agree but not entirely.
So you aren’t entirely wrong. 🤷🏻

Christians don’t profess to be perfect. Where there is man there will always be evil. You can find Christian imperfections throughout the history of Christianity we are evil beings.
Using your religion as a get out of jail free card makes it seem like you missed the point somewhere along the line. When you know better, do better. An institutionalized pedo ring being protected by Christo-fascists in the seats of power strains the meaning of the world “perfect,” no? Nobody is asking for perfection, just stop using religion as a shield for purposeful evil.

Which people? White people? Christians?
What values, specifically, are you proud of in today’s society? Is it the treatment of the sick, the contempt of the poor, or the venom toward the stranger that you are most proud of?

So progress for you. Maybe that makes you a proud American is watching Arab Americans scream at the President. Different strokes/folks thing…
No need for adjectives. All Americans are Americans. Period.

I’m angry and bitter because of goofballs like you defending the indefensible and using words like Christian, patriot, and freedom to defend shitting on the rights of non-Christians and wiping your ass with the Constitution as Americans’ freedoms are being flushed away by in their own communities.

As to what would make me proud to be an American — when we actually focus our attention on fixing the real problems that exist instead of fearmongering to divide the country about its impending doom of a tranny reading “The Little Engine that Could” to students at a local library, or M&Ms being too woke and not slutty enough, that Mr. Potatoehead dropped the formal title, or a syrup company and a football team finally climbed out of the gutter and thought better of exploiting a racial stereotype as their mascot.

Let’s focus on doing something about the 14 Americans out of every 100 who don’t have access to healthcare, or feeding the hungry, housing the homeless — you know, like Jesus would do. That would fill me with pride, but we ain’t doing any of that woke shit so we might as well just stand up a paramilitary force and terrorize Americans to distract from the true evil in this country that funds all of this gross shit in the name of Christianity and values … GTFOOH.

Multiple things can be true at the same time. You have still yet to define what a Christian nation even is. I think it’s safe to say that 90% of a nation identifying as Christian could’ve identified as a Christian nation, demographically. I’d never be for a Christian State. Trump has made comments about how the US has deeply rooted in Christianity which is evident and you’d have to be selectively and purposefully ignorant to say otherwise.
So you aren’t entirely wrong. 🤷🏻

A Christian nation is one that imposes its religious ideas on others — women’s right to choose, comes to mind. This was seen by the Founders as a bad thing, and it is precisely why there was a separation of church and state built into the First Amendment.

Besides the 40 year career in the military and the defense department, I’m mostly just arguing with assholes on the internet and supporting my favored candidates in elections. How about you … do you still work for ICE? If so, you are the problem, dude. Your employer is polling just below syphilis. Does that make you a proud American?

I’ve continually stated that up until the 90s we were a country 90% identifying as Christian. Not saying we were or need to be a Christian State. That would even go against my belief that free will rules the day. We weren’t so divided because we were at least united in value and belief and there was a trust we had a common goal.

I do. We call out fraud in MN we hate Muslims… but with your logic we are all Americans so why are you calling it out? DEI is another bag… but we are all American so let’s just use that one bag…. But we can’t because the left is the party of victims. They can’t be victims without all their adjectives.

I’m a contractor that works primarily with the DoD but dabbles with DHS and other “agencies”.
Does that make you a proud American?
Helps maybe. I love my country and my community. I love my church (people)… We foster (2 currently). Every summer we go on missions trips on our dime, the whole family. We currently have two adopted families that we meet with monthly and help financially… for the sake of argument they aren’t white families or Christian. We even have a drug addict living in my basement, an old Friend of mine from Iowa I met while living in AZ who is a practicing Muslim that hates America, he’s white though. Love is natural, not something I do when I’m happy about “things”.

Seriously. which party’s values have changed most since the 90s? Which party is willfully ignoring federal court orders and suppressing the first, second and forth amendments? I’ll remind you that Trump ran on releasing all of the Epstein files and America first. Now he’s made a sport of hiding the files and attacking foreign countries to distract from them.

And the less Christian we have become the more we have shifted away from Christian values.

Right. People stopped going to chirch so it’s OK to send people to a slave labor prison in El Salvador without due process. That adds up. 😕
I’m not shielding anyone. Who am I shielding?

For starters, don’t you work for the American Gestapo and defend them every time the topic is raised.

Yeah, I remember when Hitler's Gestapo promised people free flights and $2600 to return to their home country.

The Democrats used to stand and say we need to secure our borders and illegals were scamming out welfare system. We had A rated NRA Dems. They didn’t stand for gay marriage until mid to late 2000s and they certainly weren’t for trans kids and weird shit. Certainly would have never seen Bill Clinton advocate for taxpayer funded gender transitions for illegals. Never heard anyone say anyone is legal on stolen land. Didn’t see mainstream democratic socialists or commies like Zohran. We didn’t have open hostility towards Israel like we do now in the left. The identity politics hadn’t taken over until really second term Obama election. The people trying to destroy our country are the ones who want open borders, fraud everywhere, no voter id and cheating in elections, criminals released with cashless bail and sit while they honor the families of the victims of their policies, and then pretend that their policies haven’t made the world and our country less safe. The left has zero moral high ground, has embedded itself with pedos, and is full of garbage. Spare me.

Lol, it seems I have lost my Gestapo credentials.

You’re cooked and I feel sad for you. All over the place and full rage for America. Step back from that ledge my friend, I will understand, I wish you could cut ties with all the lies that you have been living in. The angry old man a bit too insane. Putting Icing over a secret pain, You know you don’t belong. I’m old enough to remember a bipartisan agreement on immigration being killed by Trump to keep Biden from getting credit. which opened to door to the Draconian shit we are seeing right now. I’m sure you have some hard and fast proof you’d like to share about “illegals” scamming the welfare system and you aren’t just repeating talking points. 🤷🏻

It’s weird how their point of view changes when an influx of kids started be shot in school.
They didn’t stand for gay marriage until mid to late 2000s and they certainly weren’t for trans kids and weird shit.
Sometimes progress means waking up to the real problems that arise when we purposely exclude one group’s rights in favor of another. Sorry you don’t get to choose who someone else marries and don’t get to openly oppress people you don’t like. Must be hard for you.

Certainly would have never seen Bill Clinton advocate for taxpayer funded gender transitions for illegals.
Bill Clinton isn’t a doctor and again, I’m sure you have rock solid proof that a democratic administration ever funded gender transitions for illegals. Only a dickhead would say such things without said proof.

Never heard anyone say anyone is legal on stolen land.
So saying that which is patently obvious is bad? Gotcha.

Didn’t see mainstream democratic socialists or commies like Zohran.
Better late than never.

We didn’t have open hostility towards Israel like we do now in the left.
Israel is conducting a genocide and we are funding it.

The identity politics hadn’t taken over until really second term Obama election.
You must have forgot about the insistence that he was a Muslim, non-citizen who sponsored terrorism in the 20-teens.

The people trying to destroy our country are the ones who want open borders
Who is saying they advocate for open borders? I’ve never heard a single democrat say this yet it’s repeated by the right as if they repeat it on a loop Show your work.
…fraud everywhere.
Especially now Trump has made 1.5 billion in the first year of his second term. I’m sure it’s just a coincidence.

no voter id and cheating in elections,

No proof, just repeating tired disproven talking points

criminals released with cashless bail and sit while they honor the families of the victims of their policies, and then pretend that their policies haven’t made the world and our country less safe.

Justice for all, regardless of ability to pay. The problem with bail is that it only works for people who can afford to pay. It unevenly affects the poor

The left has zero moral high ground, has embedded itself with pedos,

Get serious dude. Who is violating court orders to keep the names of Epstein clients and co-conspirators hidden from the public? Every democrat Ive spoken to on this topic says prosecute them all, regardless of party or pay grade.

and is full of garbage. Spare me.

Eat shit.

You’re the first to fight, youre way too loud…You’re the flash of light on a burial shroud… I know something’s wrong… Well everyone I know has got a reason… To say, “Put the past away”
Hahahaha. You are an idiot Brownshirt POS. You want me to put the past away while supporting Make America Great Again (originally coined by the German American Bund, but I’m sure that’s just another coincidence).

I’m old enough to remember a bipartisan agreement on immigration being killed by Trump to keep Biden from getting credit.

Eat shit.
you made it one sentence. Imagine had they codified border traffic flows and handicapped Trump from securing the border now. Biden had every tool he needed to secure the border. Trump proved it.
