My point of posting the article wasn't to point out a white person was discriminated upon, but the absurdity some companies go to, to show they are woke. Starbucks likes to promote themselves as a caring company, but they are in it just for the stock dividends.

This is pretty zoomer but two streamers I watch make a pretty basic argument.

I couldn't care less what a bunch of 20 something Zoomers say on the topic, none of them have skin in the game (In this case, kids). Schools and society have changed quite a bit from when us Gen X and Millennials were in school. I live in a very conservative community, and even here there's a lot of kids that will identify as LGBTQ and pressure others into "joining" because they think it's cool. You wanna talk trauma, lets talk about peer pressure. Maybe they're not serious about it, but I hear this stuff all the time from my daughter and she's only 12. Fundamentally that's an important, yet confusing age for a lot of kids as they're just hitting puberty. I won't even get into their talks about "Furries." True LGB rates hang around at 5%, so in most cases these kids are not gonna end up that way. Pre-pubescent kids don't need to be bombarded with all this crap, nor should they be discussing it. It's gotten bad.

Two summers ago my son, who was going into Kindergarten at the time, was swimming with some little girl at the pool. She was just a year older than him. She came up and the first thing she said was, "Hi, I'm so and so. I'm seven. I'm bisexual, what are you?" My son had no idea how to respond. I was right there and heard the whole thing. You've got kids that have been conditioned and exposed to this garbage before their minds and bodies are even capable of understanding what they're talking about. A seven year old isn't old enough to have sexual urges, or even know what their preference will be. Kids didn't talk like this 10-20 years ago, and for good reason. They're not mature enough to understand the topic, and like a lot of parents I would rather my kids figure things out on their own rather than having society pressuring and confusing them.

7-12 year olds didn't use to talk this way because they didn't need to know about these topics at such a young age. They're just kids, talk about sex is inappropriate and completely unnecessary. Let them figure it out when the time is right, there's no need to bombard them with these topics before they're mature enough to understand them.

Very flawed argument. I think a basic argument for human sexuality is asking what the penis was designed for and its utility. Then ask what the vagina was designed for and its utility. Those would be pretty basic arguments. So to say being gay, putting your penis in another man’s butt hole, or rubbing your vagina against another vagina is a very natural human experience is one of the dumbest arguments you can make. The science of mating in every species and the purpose of mating has one goal and one goal alone. That goal is to populate the species. Sure, sex is awesome and it feels wonderful. You can make the argument that sex has other purposes, but in order to not have children, there needs to be some sort of intervention or unnatural prevention methods to not get pregnant.

Being born retarded, you can make an argument that is natural, but you also have to recognize that that person born retarded was born flawed. And sure we are all flawed human beings, but in regard to things being natural and bringing science and biology to this argument, genetically flawed people do exist. People recognize pride month to recognize flawed individuals.
