One of 7,000 investors, and it sounds like there's more to the story. Marta was just a landlord, he wasn't directly involved in the kidnapping. If I had to guess it sounds like the man that took the girls is the father with the mother having full custody, but that's just speculation since the mother knew who had the girls. Not saying this is right, but that's awful clickbaity.

He had to have something more to do with it than being “just a landlord” though, right? I’d hate to get caught up in any of my tenant’s illegal activities…

His name is in the credits. He is affiliated with the movie. Certainly not the group of good guys that many had tried assuring everyone of. Certainly brings into question the incredible hyperbole that many here used in insuatating that many publications were at worst pro-human trafficking and at best indifferent towards it. A Sound of Freedom funder was charged in relation to child kidnapping, there is nothing clickbait about that.

Amazingly with all the 7,000 investors and everyone else involved in the movie they found one bad apple. I’m shocked. I’m stunned. Lol.

Also the key word is investor… they invested money and will get a return on that investment. The investment could have been as low as $10. It’s laughable this is even a story.

I read another article that when the police came he initially prevented them from questioning the person, and that's why he was charged.

:laugh: Yes, 1 guy out of 7000 people that helped crowdfund a movie, and who was not directly involved in a custody dispute between two family members, completely makes the rest of the donators bad guys. Credibility is ruined! I'd bet it would pain you to know that there are almost 12,500 sex abuse cases by public school teachers per 100,000 students. I guess all the teachers are bad because a few are, right? Do you even hear yourself sometimes?

I'm sorry you fell for a clickbait headline, but I'm frankly not surprised. The charges will probably get dropped or reduced in court, and his lawyer seems pretty confidant given the circumstances. The guy had nothing to do with the kidnapping itself, and it essentially boils down to a custody battle between two family members. This story has nothing to do with sex trafficking. Keep digging that hole though.

He's got his name in the credits. I never made a sweeping statement about the people from the movie. I directly made reference to when you and ol'morse code spoke about how any publication that criticized the movie had some sort of ulterior motives.

I do find it, um, interesting, that now for some reason (I can't quite put my finger on it) but you want to speak about how incident rates are important here. However, when it's something like.....girls sports it's 1 tranny is too many. Just an interesting observation.

Yeah, these fine upstanding publications have no ulterior motives. The sites pushing the QAnon angle were pretty much the regular suspects, although they left out the NYT. No shared narrative here though.

You quick posted a story before all the details were out. It's okay to admit you jumped the gun. By the way, I don't know if you saw, but World Aquatics just ruled a few days ago that trans women can't compete against biological women in swimming. They race in their own category. They join the WBC, World Athletics, UCI, and other global athletic groups that have prevented males from competing against biological females. Unfortunately there are still sports in the US that allow that stupidity to continue. But yeah...it's such a non-issue that multiple global athletic groups have now said they're not allowing them to compete against females.

He wasn't arrested for kidnapping. He was charged with accessory to a crime, and the charges will likely get dropped or reduced. The headline is clearly clickbaity to make people think he kidnapped kids when he had nothing directly to do with the custody dispute between two family members.

Safe space, what are you even talking about? Am I sitting here shying away from anything or telling you to stop? I'm not phased by the Vortex. Do you ever just sit around and wonder why you're so tied up trying to tear down a movie you've never seen about child sex trafficking, and allowing men to compete against women in sports?

It started with a thread you never ever ever ever had any activity in and ironically your first post is about the movies QAnon ties and you have been a part of every conversion since… and still have yet to watch the movie.
