"...people deserve complete transparency on the origins of COVID-19."

Says no government anywhere.

What difference does it make if it came from a lab in China or occured naturally? Once the virus was out it was Facci’s job to advise the respective administrations on how to protect the public from it. When the administration followed his advice, generally progress was made in combatting the effects. And when they didn’t, lots of people died unnecessarily. This character assassination of this man who has done so much to protect this nation is absurd and reprehensible.

Are you serious? I am unable to comprehend your statements and instead of arguing, will point out that at least we both enjoy ND football. (y)

if it doesn't make a difference then why hide or lie about it?

I hope Rand Paul ruins his life.

Post a graph showing US COVID mortality versus other nations and then restate your claim based on the actual data.

Shame on you. We don’t agree on much politically, but I’ve always thought you were more pragmatic with your views. Anthony Fauci is a brilliant doctor who has dedicated his life to the health of the people of this country. Fauci has been the target of right wing media attacks ever since he was caught stifling laughter over something Trump said during a press conference.

I’ll take the word of the most respected physician in this nation over a worthless politician’s any day.

What about the character assassination that Fauci had publicly on credible scientists (PhDs at MIT and Stanford) that Fauci not only publicly discredited for disagreeing with him on the origins, but called them conspiracy theorists and worked with social media platforms to silence them and those who reposted their material? Why should a doctor who is advising the administration on the response to the outbreak have a member of his staff advising him on how to avoid FOIA requests? Why did he lie to the public about the funds he gave to the lab in Wuhan? I could go on and on about this disgrace of a man

Yeah, I'll take Fauci's word that we don't need to wear masks as they won't be effective against COVID....

Oh wait never mind now he's saying that I need to wear a mask to save a life....

All I can say is I got vaccinated twice. Got covid once. Was extremely sick all three times. And I haven't been the same since. I'm excessively tired all the time and I've lost 65 pounds in the last 8 months because I have zero appetite. I was opposed to getting the shots because of the lack of testing. I can't say I was forced into getting them. But where I live you were ostracized if you didn't. Of course I have no options because I can't "prove" these claims because there is no testing. But I can't focus enough to keep a job and I'm insanely moody all the time. I have nothing positive to say about how this was handled.

I think he said shame on you for not believing the government and the brilliant Fauci. And he also mentioned be pragmatic followed by F yourself. Oh wait, the F yourself was to me.

Seems rather intolerant of those who don't see the world as he does.

I didn’t say be pragmatic…and I’m only intolerant of views developed from biased sources. It’s only going to get worse with AI.

Whoa, what fantasy land do you live in? Actually had to pinch myself to make sure I was still in fact alive after reading this nonsense.

Fauci may have dedicated his life to the medical profession, but it doesn't mean he is infallible. Hell, Escobar was a very generous person to the locals. Doesn't mean he was a great person.

The problem with "experts" is that they are often very narrowminded to their focus area on solving their problem. What's the best way to stop a viral outbreak from a epidemiologist's perspective? Shut everything down and keep everyone at home until further notice. They are not experts in what the economic impact would be of doing so or the impact on the children that we keep out of school. And it is a folly to have any true faith and confidence in those epidimiologists to give honest answers when they told us it was dangerous for us to go to church but had no problem signing off on mass protests in the street in the wake of George Floyd's death.

Idk why I'm shocked that after four years, people are still sticking to their sides and dying on their hills. Pretty impressive loyalty, I guess. But with everything we know (some of which has been known for years and was suppressed), I just don't see how more people aren't capable of having open dialogue. MSM has really done a number on the intelligence in this country. It's a sad but fascinating case study.
