Ban all of the Cannabis sativa partakers. (j/k NDOM, GO IRISH!)

Ye crazy olde' biotch Mrs. Toklas.

P.S., there was certainly a time when I would need to be removed. I miss those yesterdays. Homemade devices used to stink up my tongue. How about those new "vaporizers." Do those give you dragon breath?

Any "Catcher in the Rye" theorists believing the correlation between Lennon, Reagan, and Kennedy assassinations/attempts?

Reagan was murdered? When they say he died of complications due to Alzheimer's, was he killed by a guy named Alzheimer?

I think only if it triggers the "training" you may or may not have received from the "agencies."

Wild guy ole Mr. Ventura.

Remember this everyone: Where there's smoke, there's fire. The truth may not be what "Loose Change," or "zeitgeist" claims it to be, but I hope for my children's sake, that Ventura and the bunch aren't onto something.

It is the same thing as the claims that Roosevelt knew about an imminent attack on the US and "allowed" Pearl Harbor to happen so he would have a reason to enter the war.

I also have a hard time allowing myself to believe that the government would willing allow the slaughter of so many innocent people. Then again, phrases like "acceptable losses" and "collateral damage" are commonplace in situation rooms, so I am not sure what to believe. I have a small scope of how much money was made as a result of 9/11 and the figures are staggering, so anything could be possible.

By the way, does anyone else have a difficult time when going in and out of this thread or when trying to post here? I have tried to post to other things and gotten error messages both times. My computer also slows down considerably when I enter or exit this thread.

I wonder if this thread is being monitored in Langley, VA. What if we wrote some "keywords" that have flagged us all on some watch list?

Am I hearing a strange buzzing on my phone? Is someone following me?

Who's there?!?

Thanks a lot Go Irish!. As if we all weren't paranoid enough as was.

The strangest things have certainly happened to my computer's performance since I created this thread in all honesty though. I also noticed 22 guests viewing this thread at one point... Weird. Of course, then again, as soon as we post this information on the web it goes global via search engines. Anyone who searches the keywords are quickly directed to our page.

Maybe we'll make a few more fans of Notre Dame...?

I may be one of the more liberal members on this site but even i call bs on that theory

Well as one of the most conservative people on the board, we agree, this is a bs theory. See liberals and conservatives can agree on stuff.

I trust the goverment with my life about as much as I would trust Bernie Madoff with my money. To say the U.S. Government knew about the 9/11 plot and did nothing to stop it is one thing, but to say the U.S. Government was activily involved in 9/11 that is just ridiculous.

I think 99% of conspiracy theories are BS, they are just born out of distrust of authority figures and governments (well deserved distrust).

Ventura is certainly an interesting character. Minnesota, my adopted "home" state since 1979 is certainly an interesting place politically. I came here from FL when Dixiecrats still reigned. For a hundred years or so a Republican stood a snowball's chance in Key West of being elected anywhere in the South because that bastage/republican Lincoln won the war. Thus such raging lib'ral Southern Democrats such as George Wallace and his running mate vice presidential candidate Gen. Curtis (Let's use a tactical nuke or six in Viet Nam) LeMay.

Here on the tundra the democrats are the DFL – Democrat Farmer-Labor party. For a long time the Republicans were the IR – Independent Republican party. At the time Jesse "The Body" Ventura was governor (as an Independent and member of the Reform party) we had US senators rated the most conservative - Rod Grams and the most liberal - Paul Wellstone. We now have Al Franken, former comedian and Michelle Bachmann, current comedienne.

Jesse certainly learned a lesson or two during his wrestling years on how to fabricate non-existent tension and competition. They scripted well the staffer assigned the role of cream puff opposition. Is there information, both pre and post 9/11, in some government files the public will never see? Probably. Is there a high level conspiracy to grossly deceive the public? Highly doubtful.

In the meantime, help keep MN afloat by downing some General Mills cereal in the morning, grabbing a Blizzard™ and hot dog for lunch at Dairy Queen, scarfing down some Pillsbury Crescent rolls (generously slathered with Land O' Lakes™ butter) and buying some 3M Scotch Tape™ at your local Target™. If you don't you're likely to part of a Future Jesse "The Governor"™ Ventura Paranoia Party*.

At least he got rid of the feather boa and the braided, beaded 'stache and goatee.

Red pill or blue pill hoss?

I intend to do just that. It's so damn pretty! And peaceful. Reindeer romp gleefully. Tokers trip the light fantastic. Table after table is laden with In-N-Out burgers, fries from Karl's, onion rings from Sonic, chocolate shakes from Steak-N-Shake and Tiramisu from The Scarsdale Diner in NY.

Oh, and appetizers of mushrooms, hand picked from cow pastures on the grounds of FAMU in Tallahassee. Some gently sautéed in unsalted (Land O' Lakes™) butter, playfully tossed with finely diced garlic and shallots, others stuffed with a foie gras confit and gently broiled with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and a third choice of 'shrooms soaked one to two hours in balsamic vinegar and coated with crushed macadamia nuts.

I'll leave dessert choices to others.

In taking my leave, I'd like one red pill for the road and one blue pill for a nightcap, s'il vous plait.

¡Vaya con Dios, mi amigo!
