As we all know, the college football season is just a little over 2 weeks away. We have talked a lot of Notre Dame football but there are some other games that should be good games and fun to watch!

After the Notre Dame game, these are the games I will be paying close attention to.

South Carolina @ Vanderbilt- This is a Thursday night game that I will be watching. Vanderbilt has made a splash in recruiting, lets see if they can do the same on the field. I think Vanderbilt has a decent chance beating SC.

Boise St. @ Michigan St.- This is a Friday night game. I don't think Boise St. has a good shot here. Kellen Moore's don't grow on trees, I think it could be a tough year for Boise St.. I will be watching this to see how good MSU is.

Ohio @ Penn St.- I will be watching the score of this game just to see how the players react to such a brutal off-season.

Clemson @ Auburn- AUburn didn't do so great last year but I think they return most of their startes. And Clemson will be without Sammy Watkins so Auburn has a good chance being the winner.

Michigan @ Alabama- I'm sure everyone will be watching this game. I don't think it will be much of a contest with Bama obviously coming out on top.

Kentucky @ Louisville- This game is on Sunday. I like what Charlie Strong is doing for UofL. I think Louisville has a solid chance winning the Big East.

Georgia Tech @ Virginia Tech- This game is on Monday night. It should be great game, I will definately be watching it.

Also can't wait to see Wash St. open up at BYU. 1. Want to see Mike Leach's air raid again. 2. To see how good BYU looks.

Other than that the Boise St. v. Mich St. match will be exciting to watch.

I agree with you on the Boise St- MSU game. I wonder who the MSU quarterback will be and I wonder how good he will be

Andrew Maxwell i belive is the starter. He ws suppose to be good coming out of Highschool? Plus he got to sit behind an excellent quaterback for two years and learn. Luckly i guess that he has very little real game playing time and questions at wide out.

There are so many great games the first weekend of football, I think my eyes will start to bleed by the end of it.

This will be me during the UM-AL game.

Either I get to watch UM get completely demolished by AL (almost certainly) OR I get to watch a Big Ten team take a sh*t on the SEC at the beginning of the football season. With the knowledge that we then get to face that top-10 team. At night, at home, for revenge of a game that we should have won easily last time.

It's a win-win for ND fans.

I'll be at the Vandy game Thr night. There is a lot of hype around the Dores this year, but I have a feeling its only going to motivate the other teams. Before, teams would be happy to get in, get out and not get hurt. Now, they see Vandy as a threat on the recruiting trail. The other SEC teams will want to completely dominate Vandy.

Spread started out at Vandy +6.5 and has moved up to +7. I still think its a little low. I like USC by 10.

Either way, a great game to kick off the season.

I hate the first week this year, not because of the games but because I now work on Saturdays from 2:30 - 10:30. So basically from the start of most games until the end of most games.

I hope I get a new job before then.

As an upset I see Western Michigan beating Illinois. WMU played Illinois close last year, I would like to see them pull it off

Ill be watching

Boise St. @ Michigan St: I thinkwill be a good measuring stick for both teams. Will Boise reload? Can MSU replace all they lost last year?

Michigan @ Alabama: Just to see Michigan get crushed

Georgia Tech @ Virginia Tech: should be a low scoring game but a fun one.

I thought OkSt was dynamic enough to give LSU a game last year... I think Denard is special enough to give any defense fits ... I'm not so sure the bama game is as easy a call some here think.

I doubt it. Have you seen what Michigan State has done to Denard and that offense the last few years? Alabama can and will do better. Also, even though they won, Vatech didn't allow Robinson to run wild either. Good athletic defenses who have aggressive game plans can take care pretty well with his lack of weapons and force him to make some bad mistakes while really limiting his big plays. ND also did this for 3 quarters last year but wasn't aggressive enough and choked. The lack of aggressive game planning is a fault of Diaco's defense in my opinion.

I think Michigan (Denard) keeps it close in the first half.. then Saban makes the necessary adjustments and Alabama sails to an easy victory.

Forget scheme, Michigan just doesn't have the necessary athletes to go 4 quarters with them. Neither do we for that matter.. but I do think we are cruising on the right track.

I'll be watching every televised game I can. I'm starved for some football haha.

Other than ND I'm interested in watching Ohio @ PSU because I think the Bobcats can pull of an upset, and Boise @ MSU because I think it will be a great game.

I'd like to see UCLA pick up some momentum this year with Mora at the helm. Not saying it's going to happen, but it would be nice to see the Bruins give the condoms a fit every once in a while (I live in LA). They open with Rice ...yawn... but play Nebraska the second week out here. Hopefully Joe Fauria (former Irish TE) has a good 5th year senior season as a Bruin. Made some pretty catches last year.

I don't the Denard will be able to deal with the pressure. I think he'll freak out and throw at least one pick-6

UCLA has athletes, they have nothing at QB. They wish they had Tommy Rees. Fauria is a stud, but no one can get him the ball. I root for UCLA to at least be competitive.
